Disclosed is an aqueous water-repellent/oil-repellent composition containing the following components (A), (B) and (C). Fluorine-containing copolymer (A): a copolymer containing a polymerizable monomer (a1) having a perfluoroalkyl group with 1-6 carbon atoms or a perfluoroalkenyl group wherein the amount of (a1) is not less than 20% by weight relative to the copolymer. Surfactant (B): a surfactant essentially containing a sorbitan ester or an alkylene oxide addition product thereof. Aqueous medium (C): a medium substantially containing water only or water and a water-soluble organic solvent.

An aqueous dispersion type fluorine-containing water- and oil-repellent composition containing a polymer of a perfluoroalkyl group-containing ethylenically unsaturated monomer dispersed in an aqueous medium. The composition also contains a nonionic surfactant having an HLB value of at most 11 and a cationic surfactant. A homopolymer of at least one monomer constituting the polymer has Tg of at most 50&#xb0; C.

Aqueous dispersion type fluorine-containing water- and-oil repellent composition having a polymer of a perfluoroalkyl group- containing etheylenically unsaturated monomer, a nonionic surfactant ana cationic surfactant, and preparation and use thereof

A water- and oil-repellent composition consisting of (A) a fluorine-containing copolymer comprising at least 20% by weight (based on the copolymer) of (a1) units derived from a polymerizable monomer having a Cpolyfluoroalkyl group or a polyfluoroalkenyl group, (B) a surfactant component comprising as the essential components (b1) a nonionic surfactant having an HLB value of 12 or below and (b2) a nonionic surfactant having an HLB value of 15 or above, and (C) an aqueous medium substantially consisting of water. Water- and oil-repellent composition and process for production thereof

A fluoropolymer-based water-and-oil repellant composition which comprises a copolymer comprising units derived from (a) an ethylenic monomer having a perfluoroalkyl group, (b) an ethylenic monomer having a group comprising an aromatic ring and a halogen atom or halogenomethyl group bonded thereto, and (c) an ethylenic monomer copolymerizable with these.
