An all solid state battery includes a cathode, an anode, an opposing region, a non-opposing region, and a solid electrolyte layer, and an anode active material layer includes an anode active material, and a sulfide solid electrolyte, the anode current collector is a current collector that react with the sulfide solid electrolyte at an open circuit potential of the anode active material, the anode current collector includes a coating layer including lithium titanate, on a surface of the anode active material layer side, in plan view, the coating layer includes one or two or more of an existence portion and non-existence portion respectively, in the region specified by an outer edge of the anode current collector, and in plan view, the coating layer includes the existence portion in at least a part of the opposing region, and includes the non-existence portion in at least a part of the non-opposing region.

All solid state battery

Provided is a control system of an all-solid-state lithium ion battery which is capable of improving safety. The control system of an all-solid-state lithium ion battery installed in a vehicle includes: an all-solid-state lithium ion battery connected to a motor for driving a vehicle; and a control unit controlling input and output of a current to the all-solid-state lithium ion battery, wherein the all-solid-state lithium ion battery includes an anode containing lithium titanate, and the control unit adds the number of seconds or a current value whenever the charged capacity of the all-solid-state lithium ion battery exceeds 100% of SOC due to an overcurrent, calculates the decreased amount of the SOC limit based on a value obtained from the addition, calculates the second specified SOC based on the decreased amount of the SOC limit, and controls the all-solid-state lithium ion battery based on the second specified SOC.

Control system of all-solid-state lithium ion battery

An assembled battery disclosed here includes a plurality of single cell array units each including single cells that are arranged in a lamination direction of a positive electrode and a negative electrode of an electrode body as an arrangement direction. The single cell array units are disposed parallel to each other such that arrangement directions of the single cells constituting the units are parallel to each other. Then, in the assembled battery, none of the single cells included in each of the single cell array units is directly electrically connected to adjacent single cells in the same unit, but is directly electrically connected to any one of the single cells constituting another single cell array unit through a bus bar.

A method for testing an all solid state battery with which the presence of short circuit or the presence of defect causing short circuit can be detected with high accuracy by a method in which a voltage is applied to a battery and the current value thereof is measured. A battery pack includes a plurality of unit cells, each including an electrode body having a structure in which a positive electrode and a negative electrode are stacked, and a busbar that electrically connects a positive electrode terminal to a negative electrode terminal between the unit cells. The unit cells are stacked adjacent to one another in the same direction as a direction in which the positive electrode and the negative electrode of the electrode body are stacked. The busbar electrically connects the unit cells disposed apart from each other among the unit cells excluding the unit cells disposed adjacent to each other.

There is provided an assembled battery including a plurality of single cells and a plurality of bus bars connecting the plurality of single cells in series. The plurality of single cells is arranged such that a pair of flat side surfaces faces each other. The single cells each include a battery case, a positive electrode sheet, a negative electrode sheet, a positive electrode terminal, a negative electrode terminal, an electrical resistor disposed in a conductive path between the positive electrode sheet and the positive electrode terminal, and a pressure operative type current interruption mechanism disposed in a conductive path between the negative electrode sheet and the negative electrode terminal.

An electric storage apparatus includes a plurality of electric storage elements placed side by side along a predetermined direction and a restraint plate placed between two of the electric storage elements adjacent to each other in the predetermined direction. The electric storage element has a power-generating element performing charge and discharge and a case housing the power-generating element. The restraint plate has protruding portions which give a restraint force to the electric storage element and form a space between the restraint plate and the electric storage element. The power-generating element has a positive electrode plate, a negative electrode plate, and a separator placed between the positive electrode plate and the negative electrode plate. The power-generating element includes a reaction area where a chemical reaction associated with the charge and discharge occurs. The plurality of protruding portions have a first protruding portion in contact with a first area in the case and a second protruding portion in contact with a second area in the case. The first area in the case is opposite to the reaction area, and the second area in the case is opposite to the area of the power-generating element except the reaction area.

This invention provides a lithium secondary battery comprising a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a non-aqueous electrolyte. On the negative electrode surface, there is present a cyclic siloxane and/or a reaction product thereof. The cyclic siloxane is a cyclic siloxane having at least one side chain comprising a dimethylsiloxy group (a siloxy side chain-containing cyclic siloxane).

Lithium secondary battery and method for producing same

A battery includes: an external terminal protruding outward from a main body; a metal terminal for taking out electric power from inside the main body to the external terminal; and an insulating member for insulation between the main body, and the external terminal and the metal terminal. The metal terminal includes a base portion connected to the inside of the main body and extending along the same plane as one face of the main body from which the external terminal protrudes and an end portion which further extends from the base portion and to which the external terminal is fixed.
