A communication control method is used in a cellular communication system. The communication control method includes receiving, by a communication apparatus, from a relay node, a failure occurrence notification indicating occurrence of a failure in a backhaul link between the relay node and a parent node of the relay node, and starting, by the communication apparatus, a timer defining a time to wait for recovery from the failure in response to receiving the failure occurrence notification.

A communication control method is a method executed by a user equipment. The communication control method includes transmitting, to a network, a failure report related to a failure in a procedure related to RRC connection executed by the user equipment when the user equipment exists in enhanced coverage of a serving cell. The failure report includes enhancement state information indicating a coverage enhancement state of the user equipment in the enhanced coverage, and failure count information associated with the enhancement state information. The failure count information indicates the number of times the user equipment fails in the procedure in the coverage enhancement state.

A handover control according to a first aspect is a method for performing conditional handover of user equipment from a source cell to which the user equipment is connected to a target cell. The handover control method comprises receiving, by the user equipment, from the source cell, an RRC message for handover, the RRC message including identifiers of a plurality of candidate cells being candidates for the target cell; and transmitting, by the user equipment, a report message including information related to a radio link failure detected in the source cell, to a cell to which the user equipment connects after the radio link failure. The report message includes the identifiers of all the candidate cells included in the RRC message.

Handover control method

A communication control method includes broadcasting, by a first relay node configured to manage a cell, relay node support information indicating that the cell supports the relay node, communicating, by the first relay node, a failure-related notification indicating that a failure has occurred in a backhaul link, and stopping, by the first relay node, the broadcasting of the relay node support information according to the communication of the failure-related notification.

Where the base station is the serving base station of the peer UE device, the base station sends a PCS RRC connection released notification peer message to the peer UE device. Where the base station is not the serving base station of the peer UE device, the base station sends a PCS RRC connection released notification base station message to the other base station that is serving the peer UE device and the other base station sends a notification peer message to the peer UE device. In some situations, the base station evaluates data to determine whether notification should be sent to the peer UE device. At least some of the data may be included in the notification received from the source UE device.
