Provided are a radiation measurement device and method that allow stable radiation measurement as compared with the prior art. The radiation measurement device includes a radiation detection unit 1 having a scintillator, an optical transmission member 21 for transmitting an optical signal generated in the radiation detection unit, and a signal processing unit 3 for calculating a radiation dose from the optical signal transmitted. The signal processing unit includes a compensation unit 7 for obtaining an optical transmission loss amount from a change in wavelength spectrum in the optical signal caused by radiation acting on the optical transmission member and performs compensation-control on the optical transmission loss amount, and outputs a compensated signal.

Radiation measurement device and method

A dose distribution calculation device of the invention is characterized by including: a beam information storing unit (a measured energy storing unit, a measured electric-charge storing unit, a measured beam-central axis storing unit), in which, when particle beam information of a particle beam generated by a particle beam therapy system is measured by a measuring device in confirmative radiation in which the particle beam is radiated to a phantom as a substitute for a treatment target, the thus-measured particle beam information is stored; and a total dose calculation unit for calculating a radiation dose distribution (a total dose distribution) on the basis of the measured particle beam information (a measured energy, a measured beam quantity (a measured number of electric charges), a measured position of beam central axis).

A radioactivity analyzing apparatus for analyzing a radionuclide contained in a sample material. The apparatus includes a radiation detector that detects a radiation to be detected emitted from the sample material and a radiation analyzer configured to analyze the radiation based on an output from the radiation detector. The radiation analyzer includes a pulse-height analyzer configured to extract a pulse-height distribution from a pulse signal being output from the radiation detector and depending on the radiation, an inverse-problem operator configured to perform an inverse-problem solution of the pulse-height distribution to extract an energy spectrum of the radiation, and a deterioration detector configured to determine a deterioration state of the radiation detector based on the extracted energy spectrum.

Radioactivity analyzing apparatus

A radiation measuring device includes a computing unit that receives an input of a count value of a count portion configured to receive an input of a digital pulse from a pulse height discriminator and count the digital pulse in a fixed cycle and an integrated value of an adder-subtractor accumulation portion configured to add the digital pulse and subtract a feedback pulse and finds a first current rate on the basis of the count value and the integrated value and a second count rate on the basis of the integrated value, so that soundness of the adder-subtractor accumulation portion is diagnosed and outputted by comparing the first count rate with the second count rate. A radiation measuring device of a simple configuration and a diagnosis method thereof enabling a high-accurate self-diagnosis online on the count rate measurement that is the keystone of the radiation measurement can be thus obtained.
