A substrateincludes a color center excited by excitation light, and at least a pair of reflection membersare arranged with gaps from the substrate. The substratecauses the excitation light entering the substrateto exit through its surfaces without reflection, and the reflection memberscause the exited excitation light to reflect at the reflection surface-or-and enter the substrate, and cause the excitation light to repeatedly enter and exit the substrateand thereby pass through the substrateonly a predetermined number of times. Here, the irradiating deviceemits the excitation light such that the excitation light is incident to the reflection surface-or-with an angle perpendicular to one axis among two axes of the reflection surface-or-and with a predetermined slant angle from the other axis.

Excitation light irradiating apparatus and excitation light irradiating method

A magnetic resonance memberincludes a crystal structure and is capable of electron spin quantum operations with microwaves of different frequencies corresponding to arrangement orientations of a vacancy and an impurity in a crystal lattice. A magnetic field transmission unitsenses a measurement target magnetic field at plural measurement positions different from each other, and applies application magnetic fields corresponding to the measurement target magnetic field sensed at the plural measurement positions to the magnetic resonance memberalong respective different directions corresponding to the aforementioned arrangement orientations. A measurement control unitcontrols a high frequency power supply, and determines detection values detected by a detecting device (an irradiating deviceand a light receiving device) of the physical phenomena corresponding to the plural measurement positions. A calculation unitcalculates the measurement target magnetic field at the plural measurement positions on the basis of the detection values.

Magnetic field measurement apparatus and magnetic field measurement method

An excitation light irradiation device includes a substrate having a color center. The color center is excited by an excitation light incident to the substrate. The substrate includes first and second reflection surfaces facing each other, and first and second end surfaces facing each other. When the excitation light enters into the substrate, the incident excitation light travels from the first end surface to the second end surfaces while repeatedly reflecting between the first and second reflection surfaces. The second end surface is inclined. The second end surface reflects the incident excitation light so as to cause the incident excitation light to be emitted from one of the first and second reflection surfaces.

Excitation light irradiation device and excitation light irradiation method

A coil wire includes a core wire and a winding wire. The winding wire is wound around a circumference of the core wire so as to form a plurality of spirals. The coil wire satisfies one of: (i) an outer surface of the core wire is exposed, and a distance between the outer surface of the core wire and an inner circumferential surface of part of the winding wire is smaller than a thickness of a first insulating film coated on the winding wire; or (ii) the outer surface of the core wire is coated by a second insulating film, and a distance between an outer surface of the second insulating film and the inner circumferential surface of part of the winding wire is smaller than a thickness of a thicker one of the first insulating film and the second insulating film.
