A vibrator device includes a first excitation electrode, a first pad electrode, and a first drawn wiring line that are disposed at a first surface of a vibrator element, a second excitation electrode, a second pad electrode, and a second drawn wiring line that are disposed at a second surface of the vibrator element, and a spiral first electrode pattern disposed at the first surface of the vibrator element. The first excitation electrode and the second excitation electrode are disposed so as to face each other with the vibrator element therebetween. A first central end section of the first electrode pattern is electrically coupled to the second drawn wiring line via a through electrode provided in the vibrator element. A first outer circumferential end section of the first electrode pattern is electrically coupled to the first drawn wiring line. The first drawn wiring line is electrically coupled to at least one of the first excitation electrode and the first pad electrode. The second drawn wiring line is electrically coupled to at least one of the second excitation electrode and the second pad electrode.

An oscillator circuit includes an oscillating circuit coupled to a vibrator, and a control circuit that controls the oscillating circuit. The oscillator circuit has a normal operation mode in which the oscillating circuit oscillates in a state where a negative resistance value is a first value, and a start mode in which the oscillator circuit shifts from a state where oscillation is stopped to the normal operation mode. In the start mode, the control circuit controls the negative resistance value to increase from a second value which is smaller than the first value.

A phase locked circuit includes a locked loop circuit having a phase comparator, a voltage controlled oscillator, and a variable frequency divider which divides a clock signal foutput from the voltage controlled oscillator by n and outputs it. The signal transmission device has a construction in which a transmission end IC chip provided with a transmission part of a data signal and a reception end IC chip provided with a reception part of the data signal, the transmission part and the reception part are connected via a data signal transmission line, an oscillator that outputs a clock signal to the transmission part is connected with the transmission end IC chip, a clock signal transmission line is provided which leads the clock signal output from the oscillator to the reception part, and a SAW filter is arranged in the clock signal transmission line.
