A vehicle electrical system includes a wire harness routed between a sliding door opening/closing an opening of a vehicle and the vehicle, and including at least a power supply line for supplying power; and a transmission/reception unit that transmits/receives at least a portion of control signals between the vehicle and the sliding door. The transmission/reception unit includes a first transmission/reception unit mounted to the vehicle and a second transmission/reception unit mounted to the sliding door. The first transmission/reception unit and the second transmission/reception unit wirelessly communicates with each other.

Vehicle electrical system

A wire harness winding device includes a fixing member and a tubular winding member. The surrounding wall of the winding member is provided with wire harness insertion portions at an interval in a circumferential direction. The wire harnesses are individually inserted with excess lengths in the wire harness insertion portions, and other ends are led out to an outside of the winding member. When the wire harnesses are at a first position of a winding position at which the wire harnesses are wound by the winding member and a leading position at which the wire harnesses are led from the winding member, a portion of the excess length is wound by the fixing member. When the wire harnesses are at a second position of the winding position and the leading position, the portion of the excess length is slacked between the fixing member and the winding member.

Wire harness winding device

A corrugated tube which can easily bend a wiring harness in one direction and can make the wiring harness hardly bend in another direction crossing the one direction at right angles. The wiring harness is made so that it can hardly bend in the other direction, so that the slack of the wiring harness for use in supplying electric power to a slide door can be effectively prevented from occurring. The corrugated tube includes: dented grooves and projecting strips formed on an outer periphery of the corrugated tube and arranged alternately in a longitudinal direction of the corrugated tube; and a reinforcing rib formed projecting from an outer peripheral surface of the dented groove and extending beyond an outer peripheral surface of the projecting strip, the reinforcing rib being formed in the longitudinal direction of the corrugated tube.

A power supply apparatus for a sliding structure, which can be arranged in a small space in the sliding structure, the power supply apparatus including a wiring harness having a vertical path portion; a harness fixing member for fixing one end of the vertical path portion of the wiring harness on the sliding structure; a fixed base fixed on the sliding structure for holding the other end of the vertical path portion; and a swing member mounted on the fixed base to swing freely in a horizontal plane for allowing the vertical path portion to be twisted along a circumferential direction of itself and leading a part of the wiring harness continued to the vertical path portion toward a fixed structure. Instead of the fixed base, a movable base', and a guide rail to be engaged with the movable base can be applied.

Power supply apparatus for sliding structure

Providing a power supply apparatus for a sliding structure, which can prevent a wiring harness from penetrating into an opening when the sliding structure is opened half, and sound noise when the sliding structure is closed, the power supply apparatus for the sliding structure includes a car body, a sliding door mounted slidably on the car body, the wiring harness wired between the car body and the sliding door, a fixed portion and a limiting member. One end of the wiring harness is fixed at the car body. The other end of the wiring harness is fixed at the fixed portion, which is mounted on the sliding door. The limiting member abuts on a bottom edge of an inner edge of an opening.

A wiring harness is horizontally swingably arranged from the sliding door to a vehicle body. A resilient member arranged at the sliding door energizes the wiring harness toward the vehicle body when the sliding door is fully closed, and energizes to bend the wiring harness when the sliding door is started to be opened. The wiring harness at the sliding door is supported by an oscillation member, and the resilient member energizes the wiring harness toward the vehicle body via the oscillation member. The oscillation member is mounted on a slider, the slider is engaged with a horizontal guiding rail, and the wiring harness is arranged from the slider to the oscillation member. The wiring harness is fixed to a fastening device at the vehicle body side, and the fastening device is arranged obliquely and outwardly against a direction of closing the sliding door. When the sliding door is fully closed, the wiring harness is horizontally supported along an oblong harness guiding member at the sliding door side.

Harness structure for a sliding door

In a corrugate tube as a flexible tube formed of ridges and grooves alternately arranged in a line, a rib is extended across the grooves in a longitudinal direction of the corrugate tube. A curved wall is formed on both sides of the ribs in each groove. A curved bottom wall is formed at a bottom of each groove. Electric wires are inserted into the corrugate tube. The folding corrugate tube is arranged in a case of a power-supplying device. The rib is disposed between outer and inner bending edges of the corrugate tube and extended in the longitudinal direction of the corrugate tube.

The electric supply device for a slide structure includes: a guide rail provided on the side of the slide structure; and a slider slidably engaging with the guide rail, wherein a wiring harness is guided from the side of the slide structure to the side of a fixed structure through the slider, wherein a portion of the wiring harness on the side of the slide structure is raised up from a harness fixing part, folded back in a bent shape and introduced into the slider, so that the portion of the wiring harness effects bias force in a direction in which the slider slides.

It is so constructed that electric power for actuating auxiliary equipments provided on a steering body may be obtained from an instrument panel wire harness by way of a control unit connected to the auxiliary equipments and having control function for controlling a specified one of the auxiliary equipments according to a detection signal outputted from the specified auxiliary equipment concerning the specified auxiliary equipment, and the detection signal outputted from the auxiliary equipment or a control signal outputted from the auxiliary equipment may be respectively transmitted to the instrument panel wire harness by way of the control unit.

A branch box, having an interlayer connection structure of the invention, includes insulative bus bar boards, each having a plurality of juxtaposed bus bars mounted thereon, and also having a plurality of rows of terminal holding openings each row of which are formed in the bus bar board, and are spaced at predetermined intervals along a longitudinal side edge of a respective one of the bus bars, press-connecting terminal members mounted respectively in the corresponding terminal holding openings to be electrically connected respectively to the corresponding bus bars, a plurality of wires press-connected to press-connecting end blades of the corresponding press-connecting terminal members extending through the terminal holding openings, wire-holding insulative boards on which the wires are mounted in a fixed manner, and upper and lower casings covering these component parts.

A power feeding unit for motor vehicle sliding door, wherein a feeding wire having a large number of circuits on the sliding door side can be connected to another feeding wire on the vehicle body side without breaking the power feeding even during the sliding door is opened or shut, is provided, which includes: a sliding door to be slidably assembled to a vehicle body by means of a supporting arm provided on the sliding door and slidably engaging a guide rail provided on the vehicle body; a slide rail provided on the vehicle body in almost parallel with the guide rail; a feeding wire arranged from the vehicle body to the sliding door for feeding electric power to an electric appliance provided on the sliding door; a winder provided on an end portion of the slide rail for winding the feeding wire; and a feeding wire fixing member fixed to the feeding wire to fix the feeding wire, the feeding wire fixing member sliding along the slide rail along with the supporting arm.

Wire harness fixing structure in an instrument panel

A steering module is so designed that a switch module coupled to a steering wheel has switch operating sections which can be replaced when necessary. The switch module includes a printed circuit board (PCB) having a switch programmable function; a connecting circuit element which electrically connects the PCB to an electronic combination switch; connectors which are detachably connected to switching units forming switch operating sections; and a semiconductor read-only memory (ROM) which can be replaced from outside a rear casing which accommodates the connecting circuit element and the PCB.

Steering module

A circuit and its connecting structure assembly provided in a motorcar door includes an inner unit being able to joint to a door panel, and an arm rest unit attached on the inner unit. The inner unit has an inner panel provided with a circuit, a plurality of auxiliary components connected to the circuit, and an integrated connector section. The arm rest unit includes a connector portion corresponding to the integrated connector section, a control circuit board connected to the connector portion and to a switch section for the auxiliary components, a circuit provided in the arm rest body and connected to the control circuit board, and an optional switch connected to the circuit. In the optional switches connected to the circuit provided in the arm rest unit, software replacement of the control circuit board can change the functions of the optional switches.
