A reel installation and removal device that installs and removes a reel on which a tape containing components is wound, the device including a control device configured to execute a detachment control of driving a holding section and a cutting section so that the tape is held and cut in a portion to which the component has been supplied after driving a feeding section and a rotation section so that the tape is rewound and wound around the reel, and controlling the feeder set unit and the reel transfer unit so as to detach the reel from the feeder in a state where the feeder to which the reel is attached is set in the feeder set unit.

An additional type reel holding device configured to be attached to a component supply device provided on a component mounter, the component supply device including multiple feeder devices and a standard reel holding section configured to hold multiple tape reels in a rotatable and exchangeable manner. The additional type reel holding device is attached as an addition to the standard reel holding section, holds additional tape reels different to the tape reels held by the standard reel holding section in a rotatable and exchangeable manner, and supplies the carrier tapes wound on the additional tape reels to the feeder devices. Thus, it is possible to increase the overall quantity of carrier tapes supplied to feeder devices from the standard reel holding section and the additional type reel holding device.

A standalone type reel holding device configured to be set separately to a component mounter provided with a component supply device, the component supply device including multiple feeder devices and a main-body-side reel holding section configured to hold multiple tape reels around in a rotatable and exchangeable manner, wherein the standalone type reel holding device holds separately-located tape reels different to the tape reels held by the main-body-side reel holding section in a rotatable and exchangeable manner, and supplies carrier tapes wound on the separately-located tape reels to the feeder devices. Thus, it is possible to increase the overall quantity of carrier tapes supplied to feeder devices from the main-body-side reel holding section and the standalone type reel holding device.

A rotary head includes a rotating body on which a plurality of suction nozzles that suck a component at a tip end are disposed in a circumferential direction, and revolves the plurality of suction nozzles by rotation of the rotating body, in which a wall portion with a wall surface along an axial direction of a rotary axis of the rotating body, is provided on a lower surface of the rotating body, and the wall portion is provided in the vicinity of an inner circumferential side of the plurality of suction nozzles such that a reduction in pressure on the inner circumferential side of the plurality of suction nozzles caused by the revolving of the suction nozzles is suppressed.
