A bead appearance inspection device includes an input unit configured to enter input data related to a welding bead of a workpiece produced by welding, a preprocessing unit configured to perform a preprocessing of converting a shape of the welding bead into a predetermined shape on the input data, and k inspection determination units, where k is an integer of 1 or more, that are equipped with k types of artificial intelligence and that are configured to inspect and determine presence or absence of a welding defect of the welding bead based on processings of the k types of artificial intelligence targeting input data on which the preprocessing is performed.

A welding system includes a welding apparatus and an appearance inspection apparatus. The appearance inspection apparatus includes: a shape measurement unit that measures the shape of a weld; an image processor that generates image data based on data of the shape; a determination unit that determines whether the shape of the weld is good or bad based on the image data and a determination model; and a feedback unit that extracts shape defect information if the result of the determination by the determination unit is negative. An output controller of the welding apparatus corrects a welding condition for a workpiece based on the shape defect information extracted by the feedback unit.

The semipermeable membrane contains a polyarylate resin and a polysulfone resin as a major membrane material and has a fibrilliform structure with a high mechanical strength and has a water permeability of 1,500 ml/m.sup.2.hr.mmHg or lower as well as an inhibitory rate against bovine serum albumin of 80% or higher and against cytochrome C of 40% or lower. The membrane is prepared by discharging a stock solution containing the polyarylate resin and the polysulfone resin in the total amount of 10% to 25% by weight and a core solution of an organic solvent containing water in the amount of 25% to 80% by volume into a coagulating solution.
