A formed product produced by using a thermoplastic resin composition comprising a polycarbonate resin with a repeating unit (A) represented by the following general formula (1) and a repeating unit (B) represented by the following general formula (2). Rand Rindependently denote a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, or a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group. The alkyl groups in Rand Rmay be bonded together to form a ring. Rand Rindependently denote a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms or a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group. X denotes a single bond or a divalent organic group represented by the following general formula (3). An object of the present invention is to provide a polycarbonate resin composition and a molded article, which are excellent in jet-blackness, image sharpness, impact resistance, scratch resistance owing to high hardness, flame retardancy and heat retention stability. The present invention is a method for producing a polycarbonate resin, comprising performing polycondensation through a transesterification reaction by using a catalyst and using a dihydroxy compound and a carbonic acid diester as raw material monomers, and feeding the produced polycarbonate resin to an extruder, wherein the dihydroxy compound contains at least a dihydroxy compound having a moiety represented by formula (1) in a part of the structure, the dihydroxy compound having a moiety represented by formula (1) contains a compound having a cyclic ether structure, and the temperature at the time of feeding the polycarbonate resin to the extruder is from 180&#xb0; C. to less than 250&#xb0; C., with the proviso excluding the case where the moiety represented by formula (1) is a part of &#x2014;CH&#x2014;O&#x2014;HCH&#x2014;O&#x2003;&#x2003;(1).

The polycarbonate resin of the present invention comprises a structural unit derived from a dihydroxy compound represented by a specific formula (1), a structural unit derived from a dihydroxy compound represented by a specific formula (2), and a structural unit derived from a dihydroxy compound represented by any one of specific formulae (3) to (6), wherein the content of structural units derived from dihydroxy compounds represented by the specific formulae (3) to (6) is within a specific range based on the total of structural units derived from dihydroxy compounds in the polycarbonate resin.

Polycarbonate resin and transparent film comprising the same

The polycarbonate resin of the invention includes a first structural unit derived from a dihydroxy compound represented by a general formula (1), a second structural unit derived from a dihydroxy compound represented by a general formula (2), and a third structural unit derived from at least one dihydroxy compound selected from the group consisting of a dihydroxy compound represented by a general formula (3), a dihydroxy compound represented by a general formula (4), a dihydroxy compound represented by a general formula (5), and a dihydroxy compound represented by a general formula (6), and in which the first structural unit derived from a dihydroxy compound represented by the general formula (1) accounts for 18% by mole or more of the polycarbonate resin. A polycarbonate resin composition (X), comprises: (A) a polycarbonate resin containing (a) a structural unit derived from a dihydroxy compound having a moiety represented by the following formula (1) in a part of a structure; and (B) an aromatic polycarbonate resin, wherein a reduced viscosity of the aromatic polycarbonate resin (B) is 0.55 dl/g or less, a proportion of the aromatic polycarbonate resin (B) in the polycarbonate resin composition (X) is 30 wt % or more, and a total light transmittance of the polycarbonate resin composition (X) is 90% or less:CH&#x2014;O&#x2003;&#x2003;(1).
