A nuclear magnetic resonance apparatus includes a nuclear magnetic resonance device for elucidating atomic configuration and molecular structure of a substance based on a decay signal of induced electromotive force caused by resonance precession of nuclear magnetic moment induced by irradiation of electro-magnetic pulses in an RF region when the substance is exposed to a strong magnetic field, and a vibration isolation mechanism for suppressing vibrations. The vibration isolation mechanism has, as an actuator, an air spring connected to a pressurized air source via an electro-pneumatic converter and acting to exert a force for vibration isolation on the nuclear magnetic resonance device. The vibration isolation mechanism is capable of active vibration isolation, and disposed away from the nuclear magnetic resonance device by such a distance that the electro-pneumatic converter never incurs any malfunctions or operating failures under influence of a magnetic field generated by the nuclear magnetic resonance device.

Nuclear magnetic resonance device

A vibration control unit in which a rolling element having a first curved surface that is a convex surface is interposed between a first and second members, and the rolling element is allowed rolling with respect to the first member in the first curved surface thereof. The rolling element has a second curved surface that faces the first curved surface and is formed of a curved surface center different from that of the first curved surface. As the rolling element, resulting from an additional force applied on the first and second curved surfaces, rolls with respect to the first member, the second member vibrates with a restoring force determined based on an average curvature radius of the first and second curved surfaces of the rolling element and a distance between curved surface centers of the first and second curved surfaces.

Vibration control unit and vibration control body

A fluid actuator applicable to high load with small space, comprising a core with an output shaft and two discs; and a cylinder casing which receives the core in a hollow, an upper end of the upper shaft projecting out of an upper opening and the core is set free. The cylinder casing includes an annular protrusion projecting into an air gap between the discs, wherein a small seal member which seals upper and lower spaces is provided between a portion of the core located between the discs and an annular protrusion and a large seal member which seals upper and lower spaces is provided between an inner peripheral surface of the cylinder casing, and an outer peripheral surface of the discs. The interior of the cylinder casing is divided into four small cavities abutting on one another vertically and an effective pressure-receiving area of the large seal member is larger than that of the small seal member to each of the small cavities.

Fluid actuator

A vibration control device in accordance with the present invention is provided with a liquid lever mechanism which has an action member , a liquid chamber and a driving plate , and is used for enlarging a displacement, a piezo-actuator which can be displaced in a direction so as to change the volume of the liquid chamber , and a rubber vibration isolator which is placed between the liquid lever mechanism and the piezo-actuator in series therewith. This vibration control device has a low natural frequency so that it has a superior passive vibration-blocking performance at high-frequency bands, while maintaining a superior active vibration-blocking performance at low-frequency bands, and also makes it possible to achieve a small size.

Vibration control device and driving method thereof

By a controller,which receives signal input from a first sensor,for detecting the vibratory state of an object O to be isolated from vibration and from a second sensor,for detecting the vibratory state of an intermediate mass element,, a signal is outputted to a power input portion,of a piezoelectric element,to cause a voltage variation such that the intermediate mass element,vibrates to cancel out the vibrations of the object O in an acting direction.

Active vibration isolator

A dynamic absorber for a pendulum type structure is particularly useful for suppressing swing. In operative association with the pendulum type structure, the dynamic absorber is provided above the center of gravity of the pendulum type structure such that the dynamic absorber can apply damping force to the pendulum type structure.
