A monitor apparatus includes: a display panel that displays a medical image; an as-viewed output terminal capable of outputting a video signal reflecting a same color set value as a color set value reflected in the medical image displayed on the display panel; a communication unit that detects device information regarding an external device connected to the as-viewed output terminal; and a second color setting reflection unit capable of controlling to further change the color set value reflected in the video signal outputted from the as-viewed output terminal based on a detection result of the communication unit.

A stereoscopic endoscopic image processing apparatus includes: a synchronization adjustment portion that performs a synchronization adjustment between a left-eye image signal and a right-eye image signal; an image analysis portion that analyzes a region that an image of a treatment instrument occupies in a peripheral region around a central region in an image of one image signal; a blur region setting portion that, with respect to the image in the peripheral region around the central region in which blur processing is not performed, sets a region in which to perform blur processing in accordance with an analysis result of the image analysis portion; and an image compositing portion that composites and outputs a 3D image with respect to which blur processing is performed on the left-eye image and the right-eye image, respectively, in accordance with a setting result of the blur region setting portion.

Stereoscopic endoscopic image processing apparatus

In a transmission device used in a wireless video transmission system in which a medical image is transmitted and received by radio communication, a transmission unit is capable of performing radio communication with a plurality of receiving devices connected to a plurality of display apparatuses. A control unit acquires an identifier for identifying a receiving device connected to a selected single display apparatus when an instruction is received to select one display apparatus on which the medical image is to be displayed from among the display apparatuses, and controls the transmission unit such that the identifier will be used when the medical image is transmitted.

Wireless video transmission system and transmission device

In a processor of a wireless image transmission system that transmits, by radio communication, an image signal obtained by converting an image obtained by an endoscope apparatus, a communication state detection unit monitors a communication state of radio communication. An editing unit edits the image signal according to a mode in which the endoscope apparatus obtains an image when the deterioration of a communication state is detected by the communication state detection unit. A transmission unit transmits the image signal output from the editing unit to a receiver.
