A connector with a built-in substrate includes a chain terminal including a chain portion, a first tab portion configured to protrude from the chain portion in a predetermined direction, a second tab portion configured to protrude from the chain portion in a direction different from a protrusion direction of the first tab portion; an inner housing in which the chain terminal is installed such that the first tab portion and the second tab portion protrude; and a substrate connected to the second tab portion protruding from the inner housing.

Connector with built-in substrate and method of manufacturing chain terminal of the connector with built-in substrate

A communication path in a loop form is formed by trunk lines and a redundant communication path, which is formed by a switch and a backup line. In order to be applied to a bus-type communication network such as a CAN, the switch is normally off, and the backup line is disconnected from a path in a steady state. A disconnection detection unit is provided at each of joint connectors. When any disconnection detection unit detects disconnection, the switch is closed to enable use of the redundant path. Further, content of a routing map of a central gateway is automatically rewritten to preferentially select the redundant path that is not disconnected, and thus the path is changed.

Communication system

Switching hubs such as relay devices capable of path control are arranged at a plurality of branch positions respectively on a wire harness including a trunk line of a communication line. Each of the relay devices includes a failure detection part, a routing map, and a path control part. The trunk line of the communication line is formed to make it possible to use a plurality of types of paths selectively. When the failure detection part in any relay device detects a failure, an instruction of path change is given to another relay device therefrom. When any relay device receives an instruction of path change from another relay device, the routing maps in the relay device receiving the instruction are switched according to a failure occurrence portion. A VLAN is constructed on an Ethernet communication network, and logical assignment of the VLAN is controlled by a central gateway.

On-vehicle communication system

A plurality of zones is formed in a communication network on the vehicle, and a communication path in a loop form is formed in each zone by zone trunk lines and a backup line. The backup line is connected by a switch only at the time of disconnection so that the loop is not closed. At the time of disconnection detection, an instruction is automatically given to rewrite content of routing maps on zone ECUs and a central gateway. Since each node preferentially selects a communication path that bypasses a disconnection portion from the start of communication by rewriting the content of the routing maps, it is possible to avoid an increase in communication delay. An inter-zone backup line connecting a plurality of zones is provided to enable the use of a new path across the plurality of zones at the time of disconnection.

A noise filter includes a filter circuit including a noise reduction element that reduces a noise component, a conductive first circuit connection member to which a first connection portion of the noise reduction element is electrically connected, and a conductive second circuit connection member to which a second connection portion of the noise reduction element is electrically connected, a first electric connection structure that electrically connects an intermediate connection portion of a core wire of a first electric wire to the first circuit connection member, and a second electric connection structure that electrically connects an intermediate connection portion of a core wire of a second electric wire whose one end is grounded, to the second circuit connection member.

Noise filter and wire harness

A noise filter includes a filter circuit including a noise reduction element that reduces a noise component, a conductive first circuit connection member to which a first connection portion of the noise reduction element is electrically connected, and a conductive second circuit connection member to which a second connection portion of the noise reduction element is electrically connected, and an electric connection structure that electrically connects an intermediate connection portion of a core wire of an electric wire to one of the first circuit connection member and the second circuit connection member. The electric connection structure includes a circuit side connection body provided in one of the first circuit connection member and the second circuit connection member and indirectly or directly electrically connected to the intermediate connection portion by an elastic force indirectly or directly exerted on the intermediate connection portion.

A wire harness includes a main line harness, a branch line harness, and a branching structure configured to connect the main line harness and the branch line harness to each other. The main line harness has a plurality of main lines arranged side by side. Each main line is configured as a wiring member having a rod conductor. The branch line harness has a plurality of branch lines. The branching structure includes connection terminals to be electrically connected to the main lines to form at least part of electrically conductive paths between the main lines and the branch lines. Each connection terminal has a tubular connection portion to cover an outer circumferential surface of the rod conductor. The tubular connection portion has a pressing structure configured to elastically press the outer circumferential surface of the rod conductor placed inside a hollow portion of the tubular connection portion.

Branching structure and wire harness

A connector is equipped with a housing capable of being fitted in a mating connector which houses a plurality of mating terminals connected to each other electrically and a holder which is attached to the housing. The housing has a plurality of terminal housing rooms which house a plurality of terminals. The holder has a plurality of noise reduction member holding rooms which hold a plurality of noise reduction members each of which reduces noise occurring in a corresponding one of the plurality of terminals housed in the plurality of terminal housing rooms, in such a manner that the plurality of noise reduction members are disposed adjacent to front end surfaces of corresponding ones of the plurality of terminals in a state that attachment of the holder to the housing is completed.

Connector including housing capable of being fitted in mating housing of mating connector

A connector is equipped with a housing capable of being fitted in a mating housing of a mating connector, a plurality of terminals which are held by the housing and electrically connected to each other, and a noise reduction member which is held in the housing so as to reduce noise occurring in the terminals. The noise reduction member is disposed at at least one of the plurality of terminals, and is not disposed at at least one of the remaining terminals of the plurality of terminals. The noise reduction member is made of a material containing ferrite.

Connector with selective placement of noise reduction member

A branch structure in which a branch harness is connected to a trunk harness includes connecting terminals. The trunk harness includes a plurality of trunk lines which are parallel-arranged. The branch harness includes a plurality of branch lines. The connecting terminals are respectively connected to the plurality of the trunk lines so as to electrically connect the plurality of the branch lines to the plurality of the trunk lines respectively. The trunk lines include connecting parts recessed in a radial direction. The connecting parts are arranged along an arrangement direction of the plurality of the trunk lines. The connecting terminals respectively includes connecting plate parts connected to the connecting parts in surface contact.

Branch structure and wire harness

A connector is equipped with a housing capable of being fitted in a mating connector, a plurality of terminals which are held in the housing and electrically connected to each other, and a noise reduction member or members which are held in the housing. The mating connector is connected to brunch lines among a trunk line and the brunch lines constituting an electric circuit. One of the plurality of terminals is a trunk-line connection terminal which is a pressure contact terminal and is electrically connected to the trunk line directly, and a remaining terminals are branch-line connection terminals which are male terminals or female terminals and are electrically connected to the respective branch lines when the housing is connected to the mating connector. The noise reduction member is not disposed at the trunk-line connection terminal, and the noise reduction member is disposed at the branch-line connection terminal.

Connector

A branch structure includes a trunk-line harness in which a plurality of trunk lines including a routing member having a rod conductor are disposed in parallel, a branch-line harness that has a plurality of branch lines, and a connection terminal that electrically connects the branch line to the trunk line by being joined to the trunk line. The connection terminal includes a connection plate portion which has a width dimension smaller than the width of the trunk line, and is joined in a state of being in surface contact with an outer peripheral surface of the rod conductor in the trunk line, and the connection plate portion is joined to the trunk line at a position where the connection plate portion is orthogonal to an arrangement direction of the trunk lines.

A corrugated tube is formed in a cylindrical shape to cover an electric wire that is made of at least a conductive material, extends in one direction, and inserted into the corrugated tube. A holding member is fixed to the corrugated tube. A tie band fixes a part of the electric wire to the holding member, the part being extended outwardly from the corrugated tube. With this constitution, the electric wire inserted into the corrugated tube can be fixed to the holding member fixed to the corrugated tube by the tie band thus fixing the electric wire to the corrugated tube formed in a cylindrical shape.

Fixing structure for wiring material and wire harness

An optical connector includes a first connector portion having a first optical fiber, a second connector portion having a second optical fiber, and an aligning part. The second connector portion includes a fitting recessed portion in which the first connector portion is fitted. The second connector portion is joined closely in a direction orthogonal to axes of the first and second optical fibers by the first connector portion. The aligning part includes side walls of the fitting recessed portion gradually closing to each other in a fitting direction of the first connector portion to the fitting recessed portion, and side surfaces of the first connector portion inclined at the same inclination angle as the side walls of the fitting recessed portion.

Optical connector and branch structure of wire harness

A branching structure for connecting a branch harness to a main line harness, includes connection terminals configured to electrically connect branch lines of the branch harness to main lines of the main line harness respectively, a terminal block on which the connection terminals are supported, and fasteners that respectively fasten the connection terminals onto the terminal block. Each of the connection terminals has a belt-shaped wound portion to be wound around a corresponding one of the main lines. The wound portion is fastened by a corresponding one of the fasteners so that both ends of the wound portion come closer to each other and a center portion of the wound portion tightens around the main line so as to be brought into surface contact with a bar conductor of the main line.
