A control unit for an electric oil pump of the present invention includes: a one-way valve that permits circulation of operating fluid from the electric oil pump to the friction engagement device and blocks circulation in the opposite direction; an accumulator that is connected to a fluid supply path joining the one-way valve to the friction engagement device and accumulates hydraulic pressure required for operating the friction engagement device; a hydraulic pressure measuring device that measures hydraulic pressure inside the fluid supply path; a vehicle speed measuring device that measures a vehicle speed of the vehicle; and a pressure setting device that sets a first predetermined pressure based on the vehicle speed measured by the vehicle speed measuring device.

Control unit for an electric oil pump

This motor control apparatus is provided with: a reduced energy calculation device that calculates a reduced energy that is produced when a drive mode of a hybrid vehicle is shifted from a drive mode driven by a motor to a drive mode driven by an internal combustion engine and if the phase of the motor is changed from the present phase to the arbitrary required phase; a displacement energy calculation device that calculates a displacement energy that is produced when the present phase is changed to the arbitrary required phase; and a phase change permission device that compares the reduced energy and the displacement energy, and permits changing from the present phase to the required phase when it is determined that the reduced energy is greater than the displacement energy.

Motor control apparatus and motor control method

A hybrid vehicle implements a required traveling condition by generating a required driving force necessary to drive the vehicle even in the case where a supply source of a working fluid develops a malfunction. The hybrid vehicle is equipped with a motor which changes the phase difference between two rotors and an engaging/disengaging device which turns on/off the supply of a driving force of an internal combustion engine, the motor and the engaging/disengaging device being driven by a working fluid. The hybrid vehicle further includes a clutch which carries out the engagement/disengagement between a first drive shaft through which a driving force of an engine is transmitted and a second drive shaft through which a driving force of the motor is transmitted to wheels, an electrically-operated first pump capable of supplying hydraulic oil to a relative rotational force generator of the motor and the clutch, a mechanical second pump which is driven by the engine and which is capable of supplying the hydraulic oil to the clutch, and a solenoid selector valve for selectively switching the source of supply of the hydraulic oil to the clutch to the first pump or the second pump.

Hybrid vehicle

A hydraulic circuit control device that selectively supplies oil to a first oil passage and a second oil passage by an oil pump, the control device includes: an oil passage switching unit adapted to connect the oil pump to either the first oil passage or the second oil passage; a control mode switching unit adapted to switch the control mode of the electric motor to either a torque control mode or a speed control mode; an oil passage selecting unit adapted to select whether to connect the oil pump to the first oil passage or the second oil passage; and a control unit adapted to perform control so that the control mode switching unit switches the control mode to the torque control mode when the first oil passage has been selected, and perform control so that the control mode switching unit switches the control mode to the speed control mode when the second oil passage has been selected.

Hydraulic circuit control device

An engine starting apparatus includes a starter motor rotating when the engine is started, a wedge roller speed reduction mechanism adapted to output a rotation of the starter motor from an output shaft at a reduced speed and to cut off power transmission between the starter motor and the output shaft when the rotational speed of the output shaft exceeds the reduced speed, a pinion gear provided on the output shaft in such a manner as to rotate together with the output shaft and to move axially over the output shaft between an engagement position where the drive gear is mesh engaged with a ring gear and a disengagement position where the pinion gear is disengaged with the ring gear, and a magnet switch for driving the pinion gear to the engagement position when the engine is started and to the disengagement position after the engine has been started.

Engine starting apparatus

An engine starter for preventing undesirable noises is disclosed, which is applicable to a vehicle employing an idle stop system. The starter comprises a starter motor; a traction-drive type reduction gear connected to the starter motor and positioned between the starter motor and a driven shaft of the engine; and a torque transmitting device via which the reduction gear and the driven shaft are linked.
