An electrical equipment system includes electrical equipment, a battery pack with a wireless communication function which is mounted to the electrical equipment, and a portable terminal wirelessly communicable with the battery pack. The electrical equipment includes a drive part, a control part which controls the drive part, an operation part which instructs start and stop of the drive part, and a storage part which stores operation parameters for driving the drive part. Various operation parameters, such as an operation amount of the operation part for starting the drive part of the electrical equipment, are configured to be changeable by a management application installed in the portable terminal.

Electrical equipment and electrical equipment system

In a battery pack and an electrical device, one or more sensors are provided at a battery pack side, and sensor information acquired on a battery side is used to control an electrical device main body. Sensors that collect and output physical information arising due to external factors are provided at a battery pack, and a control part of the battery pack processes signals detected by the sensors and creates a control signal compatible with a mounted electrical device main body. The control part of the battery pack transmits, to the electrical device main body, a signal for controlling the electrical device main body via a communication terminal to enable a control part of the electrical device main body to perform optimal control using sensor information.

In the work device that has a self-holding circuit () maintaining power supply from a power supply circuit () by output from a microcomputer () and has a structure in which stopping output to the self-holding circuit () causes interruption of power supply from the power supply circuit () to the microcomputer (), the firmware of the microcomputer () is made to be rewritable and a power holding unit (condenser C) for temporarily continuing power supply to the microcomputer () is provided, thereby realizing a so-called 'off-delay timer function' for restarting the microcomputer (). This configuration enables maintenance of power to the microcomputer () after update of the firmware even in a work device that cannot be restarted once power has been turned off unless trigger operation is performed, thereby enabling automatic restart of the microcomputerafter resetting is enabled.
