A forging press includes a slide configured to have a die attached thereto; a drive shaft configured to cause the slide to rise and lower by rotating; a flywheel connected to the drive shaft via a clutch; a servomotor connected to the drive shaft; and a control part configured to control respective operations of the clutch and the servomotor, wherein the control part is configured to perform such control as to cause the drive shaft to rotate with the driving of the flywheel in at least one of a rising process, in which the slide is caused to rise, to cause the slide to rise and a lowering process, in which the slide is caused to lower, to cause the slide to lower.

Forging press and method of controlling same

A very-high pressure generator of construction such that the lower and upper guide blocks of the generator are each configured so as to form a pyramidal recess on the bottom surface and an upside-down pyramidal recess on the top surface accurately symmetrically, their pyramidal slopes given one and the same angle of inclination and are prevented from being deformed under high pressure not by enlarging the guide blocks and the press, but by making the support conditions of all the anvils of the generator uniform, the positions of the anvils can easily be adjusted and therefore the generator is capable of pressurizing a pressure transmitting medium into the shape of the desired cube accurately. Each of the lower and upper guide blocks has a pyramidal recess in its bottom surface and an upside-down pyramided recess in its top surface and us symmetric with respect to its horizontal center plane. Each of lower and upper base blocks has a lower upside-down pyramidal portion and an upper pyramidal portion. The upper base block is disposed at the center of the lower pyramidal recess of the upper guide block. An upper downward pyramidal block is disposed between the press frame and the upper upside-down pyramidal recess of the upper guide block.

Extra high voltage generator

To provide a controller of an automation device in a forging press capable of preventing the occurrence of a phenomenon in which raw materials are progressively transported in a partially lacked state and enhancing forging accuracy productivity, an inlet side transportation device includes a raw material detector for detecting whether a raw material to be supplied to a transfer feeder has been supplied or not and a controller for controlling the feed operation of the transfer feeder. When the controller receives a detection signal indicating that the raw material has supplied from the detector, the controller causes the transfer feeder to perform an ordinary feed operation, whereas when the controller does not receive the detection signal from the detector, the controller temporarily stops the transfer feeder at a waiting position, and when the controller receives a detection signal of a raw material supplied next within the set time of the temporary stop, the controller starts the transfer feeder, whereas when the controller does not receive the detection signal of the raw material within the set time, the controller starts the transfer feeder simultaneously with the finish of the set time.

Forging press apparatus, controller of automation device used therefor and shut height controller

The present invention relates to a forming press of crankshafts which is safe, has a slide of large strength and high forming precision, and is capable of high-speed cyclic operation. A forming press of crankshafts includes a forging unit for twisting and a forging unit for reshaping, wherein (i) a twisting oil-hydraulic cylinder is mounted on the crown, (ii) twisting push rods are disposed along outer surfaces of the slide, and (iii) the bottom ends of the twisting push rods are connected by twisting-down beams and untwisting beams. The slide is of inverted T-form in section, and the pressing block is of H-form as seen from above and of inverted U-form as seen from one side. Therefore, they do not interfere with each other and a large stroke can be secured. The twisting angle is set using an upper stopper provided in the pressing block and an automatic telescopic lower stopper provided in the slide and freely movable toward and away from the upper stopper. An upper guide and a lower guide are provided between the pressing block and the slide. Each guide directs four portions, around the lower stopper, of the pressing block against its forward, backward, rightward, and leftward deviation.

Forming press of crankshafts

A crank press, wherein the power of an electric motor is transmitted to a crankshaft and a connecting rod connected thereto through a clutch to lower a slider and a brake coupled to the crankshaft slows down and stops the ascending slider at its top dead point at the end of each cycle, comprising (i) an oil-hydraulic pump/motor which engages the crankshaft through gears, (ii) an accumulator which is connected to the oil-hydraulic pump/motor by oil paths a, b and c, and (iii) first and second switching valves which switch the oil flow between an energy-absorbing mode to feed hydraulic oil to the accumulator through the oil-hydraulic pump/motor and an energy-releasing mode to feed hydraulic oil from the accumulator to the oil-hydraulic pump/motor.

Crank press

A twist-forming process and a coining process for a crank shaft are carried out by using one twist-forming press including a twist forming section and a coining section, and a stopper height adjusting means for determining the crank pin arrangement and for finely adjusting the twist angles is integrally incorporated into the twist-forming press.
