Antenna device and vehicle

An antenna device includes: a case; a board which is encased in the case and receives a signal from an antenna element; and a base for which closes a bottom face of the case. The base is integrally provided with a metal fastening member, and includes a sheet metal part for conducting earth connection between an earth electrode of the board and a vehicle panel, and the sheet metal part is surrounded with resin to be integrally molded therewith.

Antenna device

A vehicle antenna assembly includes an element coil, a holder, and a retainer. The element coil can have a polygonal configuration in a cross-section taken normal to a coil access. The holder can include rails. The retainer can engage the rails and apply a compressive load on the element coil to fix the element coil with respect to the holder. A method for holding an antenna element is also disclosed.

Vehicle antenna assembly

A vehicle includes a vehicle frame, a dielectric panel mounted to the vehicle frame, an antenna unit mounted on the dielectric panel, an electrically conductive bracket connected with the antenna unit, and a resilient ground plate connected with the bracket and the vehicle frame. The dielectric panel can be interposed between the antenna unit and the bracket. The resilient ground plate can facilitate grounding the antenna unit to the vehicle frame. A vehicle antenna unit and an antenna mount for the vehicle antenna unit are also disclosed.
