A compact electronic device as a constituent element of a wireless communication system using a sensor. A first feature of the device is that a first semiconductor chip is bare-chip-mounted over a front surface of a first wiring board in the form of a chip and a second semiconductor chip is bare-chip-mounted over a second wiring board in the form of a chip. A second feature is that a wireless communication unit and a data processing unit which configure a module are separately mounted. A third feature is that the first and second wiring boards are stacked in the board thickness direction to make up the module (electronic device).

The present invention provides a data processing system which can increase resolution and which has excellent tracking with respect to the switching of a conversion range and is small in conversion error. The data processing system, which obtains an A/D conversion result after an n (where n: positive integer)-bit extension made to the resolution of an A/D converter, divides the input range of the A/D converter by m (2&#x2266;m), determines to which divided range the A/D conversion result by the A/D converter belongs with respect to an analog signal to be measured, amplifies an amp offset which defines the range of the determined divided range as a voltage range for the input range of the A/D converter by applying the amp offset to a programmable gain amplifier, converts the amplified signal by the A/D converter, and adds a corresponding digital offset to a result of execution of a lower side bit extension to the conversion result and a division thereof by actually measured gain of the programmable gain amplifier, whereby an A/D conversion result with a bit precision being n-bit extended is obtained.

Data processing system

An optical element includes an effective diameter area that is centered on an optical axis and transmits an effective light beam, and a flange portion having, on a side surface around the effective diameter area, a slope that is not perpendicular to a direction of the optical axis.

DA conversion is performed while improving resolution and reducing the influence of errors. A predetermined weight is applied to an output of at least one of a plurality of DA converters to each of which calibration data is given; the resultant outputs are added by an adder. An output of the adder is converted to a digital value by an AD converter. If the predetermined weight has an error outside an allowable range on the basis of the obtained digital value, a calibrating process of obtaining a correction factor for correcting the digital signal to be converted so as to reduce influence of the error is controlled. When a digital signal is to be converted to an analog signal with high precision, the digital signal is corrected with the correction factor, the resultant value is supplied to the DA converters, and DA converted outputs are added by the adder.

System and method for providing high resolution digital-to-analog conversion using low resolution digital-to-analog converters

A camera module includes a lens barrel, a lens holder, an image pickup device, and a plurality of springs supporting the lens holder in such a manner that the lens holder is movable along an optical axis of an imaging optical system. Each of the springs includes first and second arm portions extending perpendicularly to each other in a plane perpendicular to the optical axis. Each of the first and second arm portions includes two parallel spring strips that are connected to each other by an arc portion. One of the spring strips of the first arm portion is connected to one of the spring strips of the second arm portion. The other one of the spring strips of the first arm portion is attached to the lens holder, and the other one of the spring strips of the second arm portion is attached to the lens barrel.

Camera module

A battery voltage measuring system includes an analog/digital converter configured to receive a higher reference voltage and a lower reference voltage which is lower than the higher reference voltage and to outputs a digital output value based on an input voltage which is lower than the high voltage reference voltage and is higher than the low voltage reference voltage. A battery supplies a battery voltage as the higher reference voltage to the analog/digital converter; a first power supply supplies a first reference voltage as the input voltage to the analog/digital converter; and a second power supply supplies a second reference voltage as the lower reference voltage to the analog/digital converter.

A camera module includes a rear lens barrel, a front lens barrel assembled to the rear lens barrel, the front lens barrel and the rear lens barrel together forming a housing space, a lens holder that holds an imaging optical system and is housed in the housing space, a guiding mechanism that movably supports the lens holder along the optical axis of the imaging optical system, and a driving unit that moves the lens holder along the optical axis of the imaging optical system, the driving unit including a magnet provided in the lens holder and a coil that faces the magnet. The rear lens barrel has a bottom wall that faces the housing space. The coil includes first and second coils disposed in the rear lens barrel on opposite sides of the optical axis in the housing space.

A concentration correcting apparatus comprising a correction coefficient calculating means and a correcting means is shown and described. The correction coefficient calculating means calculates a correction coefficient for correcting the concentration of the material when the actual density of the medium at the measurement of the material is calculated in terms of the density of the medium under the reference temperature and pressure, from the results of the temperature measuring means and the pressure measuring means. The correcting means corrects the results of the material measuring means to a concentration under the reference temperature and pressure on the basis of the correction coefficient. The measure value of the material in the medium under constant temperature and depressure is virtually calculated by correcting the measured value by using the correction coefficient while calculating the volume of the medium which is regarded as a parameter of a temperature and a pressure in terms of a volume under the constant temperature and pressure. It is therefore possible to calculate the concentration per unit weight under constant conditions even if the temperature and the pressure are varied at the time of measurement.
