A wire harness includes a relay box having an external shape that is defined by a frame to which one of a mechanical relay cassette and a communication-function-provided relay cassette is replaceably attached, a junction connector having a space in which a communication module is installable, and a junction box having a microcomputer which works a communication function optionally.

Provided are an overcurrent protection device and an overcurrent protection system which can provide time differences among the timings for executing the retry operations among a plurality of overcurrent protection devices connected to a common power supply. When a battery voltage (VBA) becomes a value equal to or lower than a threshold voltage after an FET (Q) of an IC circuit (-) is turned on, all FETs (Q) of the respective IC circuits are turned off, and a time until the battery voltage (VBA) reduces to a value lower than a threshold voltage after the turning-on of the FET (Q) is clocked. When the time is smaller than 400 &#x3bc;sec, the count value N is incremented. Further, turning-on of the FETs (Q) is repeated after the lapse of the standby time (Tp) set randomly. When the count value N reaches 7, the FET (Q) of the IC circuit-is held in the turned-off state. Accordingly, only the load-driving circuit at which the dead short occurs can be stopped and the driving of the other load-driving circuits can be continued.

Overcurrent protection device and overcurrent protection system

The present invention is to provide a power supply control apparatus which can connect a ground to a suitable electric potential when the ground is disconnected. The power supply control apparatus includes a control circuit having a switch element and a switch control unit, and a load. One terminal of load is connected to a direct-current power supply through the switch element, and the other terminal is connected to a ground electric potential. The switch control unit has a ground terminal connected to the ground electric potential and outputting a ground current flowing toward the ground electric potential. The control circuit includes a bypass device having a load side bypass system for passing the ground current to the ground electric potential through the load when connection between the ground terminal and the ground electric potential is disconnected. The load includes impedance for changing the electric potential of ground terminal into an electric potential in which the switch control unit stably acts when the ground current flows.

Power supply control apparatus

A bus bar wiring board includes a first conductive bus bar, a second conductive bus bar, a first insulating board, in which one end portions of the first and the second bus bars are embedded and a second insulating board, in which the other end portions of the first and the second bus bars are embedded. A first longitudinal direction of a cross-section of the first bus bar intersects a second longitudinal direction of a cross-section of the second bus bar.

Bus bar wiring board and method of assembling the same

A multi-voltage level power supply unit has a constant voltage source for providing a first voltage, a switching circuit connected to the constant voltage source and a DC/DC converter for reducing the first voltage so as to provide the second voltage. The first voltage may be 42-volts and the second voltage may be 14-volts, for example. The switching circuit is connected to the constant voltage source. And the switching circuit has a first relay designed to operate at the second voltage lower than the first voltage, a first semiconductor device and a control unit (CPU). Namely, the first semiconductor device has a first control electrode (base electrode), a first main electrode (emitter electrode) for receiving the first voltage, a second main electrode (collector electrode) connected to the first relay. And the CPU is connected to the first control electrode. The CPU provides a first control signal to the first control electrode so as to increase an interelectrode voltage between the first and second main electrodes, only during transition periods between open to closed states and closed to open states. Further the CPU provides second control signal to the first control electrode so as to decrease the interelectrode voltage during steady state periods of the first relay. The constant voltage source is constructed of an alternator and an AC/DC converter connected to the alternator.
