First-fourth slots may be provided in an inner circumferential surface of a stator core. A coil may include first-third segments conductor. Each of the conductors may include a U-shape. The first segment conductor may be inserted in the first slot and the second slot in a state where a coupling portion of the first segment conductor is located at a position facing a first end surface. The second segment conductor may be inserted in the second slot and the third slot in a state where a coupling portion of the second segment conductor may be located at a position facing a second end surface. The third segment conductor may be inserted in the third slot and the fourth slot in a state where a coupling portion of the third segment conductor may be located at a position facing the first end surface.

Stator and manufacturing method thereof

A cooling system is provided. Coil ends protrude outward from a first end of a stator core in a direction along a central axis. An imaginary straight line is orthogonal to both of a central axis of a core body and an axis extending in an up-down direction. Half the coil ends above the imaginary straight line are in a first portion. Each of the segment coils in the first portion includes an outer peripheral surface that faces in a direction opposite from the central axis. The outer peripheral surface of each of the segment coils includes a twisted surface. The direction in which the twisted surface faces becomes closer to the direction facing the stator core as the twisted surface extends toward the first end of the stator core.

Cooling system, stator for rotating electric machine, and segment coil

A stator may include a stator core and a coil. The stator core may include: a first portion; a second portion; and a first intermediate portion interposed between the first portion and the second portion in the axial direction. A first segment conductor and a second segment conductor may overly each other in a circumferential direction of the stator core hr a slot within an area of the first intermediate portion. A first side surface may include a first protrusion provided by the first intermediate portion protruding with respect to the first portion and the second portion. The first segment conductor and the second segment conductor may be held between the first protrusion and a second side surface such that the first, segment conductor and the second segment conductor are connected with each other.

A method of manufacturing a coil includes a preparation step of preparing a copper wire, a winding step of winding a plurality of aluminum wires around the copper wire, and a pressing step of pressing the copper wire and the plurality of aluminum wires so as to form an aluminum coat around the copper wire and form an anodized aluminum film on the surface of the aluminum coat.

A rotary electric machine includes a stator core having a plurality of teeth arranged in a row along a circumferential direction of the stator core, and a stator coil composed of a winding wire wound around the teeth. The stator coil includes coil end portions extending, outside the stator core in an axial direction thereof, along a substantially circumferential direction of the stator core, and straight portions extending along the axial direction, the straight portions being at least partially housed in a slot which is a void defined by two adjacent teeth of the plurality of teeth. In the rotary electric machine, a cooling groove is formed at least in the straight portion, the cooling groove functioning as a cooling channel through which a cooling fluid flows, and each straight portion includes only one cooling channel.

A stator of a rotary electric machine comprises a stator core and a stator coil that is wound around the stator core. The stator coil includes a first segment coil, a second segment coil, and a first connecting member that has a first fitting recess portion at a first end of the first connecting member and a second fitting recess portion at a second end of the first connecting member, the first connecting member connecting the first segment coil and the second segment coil by fitting the first segment coil into the first fitting recess portion and by fitting the second segment coil into the second fitting recess portion.

A stator includes a stator core, and a stator coil wound around the stator core. The stator coil includes a firm segment coil and a second segment coil. Laminated rotor and method for balancing the same

A rotor includes a rotor core and a rotor shaft. The rotor shaft includes an insertion portion, an external thread portion, a key groove and a nut. The insertion portion is inserted into a cylindrical hole of the rotor core. The external thread portion extends from the insertion portion to an outer side in an axial direction of the rotor shaft. The external thread portion has a plurality of thread ridges formed on an outer peripheral surface. The key groove is provided on an outer peripheral surface of the rotor shaft so as to extend in the axial direction from the external thread portion through the insertion portion. The nut is screwed onto the external thread portion, and has a crimped portion formed so as to enter the key groove.

A rotor includes: a rotor core; magnets disposed in housing holes having openings in end faces of the rotor core; a filler injected through the openings into the housing holes; and end plates fixed to the end faces. The end plates have recesses at positions facing inlets of the filler.

The neutral line connects the neutral point connecting portions of the phase windings of different phases together. The neutral line is separate from the phase windings. A thermistor includes a case having a bottom section at one end and an opening section at the other end, a thermistor element housed in the case, a conducting wire housed in the case and connected to the thermistor element, and a lead wire connected to the conducting wire. The lead wire has a first portion including an insulating coating, and a second portion connected to the conducting wire and exposed from the insulating coating. A resin is filled up to a position away from an end edge of the opening section toward the bottom section so as to enclose at least the thermistor element, the conducting wire, and the second portion. The first portion is guided out of the resin to the outside of the case. An inner peripheral surface of the opening section is curved so as to increase an opening area of the opening section.
