A long-life pump capable of simultaneously conveying plural liquids and an inkjet printer having the pump are provided. The liquid pump includes: a liquid storage unit having liquid chambers trapping at least two types of liquids with each chamber corresponding to the type of the trapped liquid; a coupling member for connection to each liquid chamber of the liquid storage unit; a pressure adjusting mechanism, connected to the coupling member, for alternately switching between a negative pressure and a positive pressure of an internal pressure of the liquid chamber; an inlet valve capable of passing the liquid to the liquid chamber; an outlet valve discharging the liquid in the liquid chamber; and a pass resistance variable mechanism adjusting an amount of the liquid trapped in the liquid chamber depending on a level of the liquid in the liquid chamber.

An overflow liquid pipe is disposed in such a manner as to pass a liquid which has overflowed from a first container flowing to a second container. The overflow liquid pipe is provided with a pressurizing pipe. A liquid removing unit pressurizes the interior of the overflow liquid pipe through the pressurizing pipe to remove liquid from the overflow liquid pipe.

A bottle holder of an image recording apparatus, which holds removably an ink bottle including an ink outlet, has an ink outlet connecting part for connecting the ink outlet, a guide having a guide surface that contacts the ink bottle to guide the ink bottle along a predetermined axis when the ink bottle is fit, a resisting part that is provided on the bottle guide surface and contacts the ink bottle to serve as a resistor to resist the movement of the ink bottle when the ink bottle is removed along the guide axis, and an ink receiving part to receive the ink dripped from the ink outlet. The ink receiving part is located relatively to the resisting part so as to position below the ink outlet when the ink bottle contacts the resistor upon the removal.

An ink container filling structure comprising an ink container removably mountable in a recording device, and an ink container filling section having a fit section in which the ink container is filled and which fits in the delivery port of the ink container, wherein when the ink container is removed from the ink container filling section, the ink is prevented from dripping from the ink delivery port to soil the operator's hand or the ink container filling section peripherals. It is arranged that the direction (the direction of arrow (A)) of fitting the fit section () in the delivery port () of the ink container () is obliquely downward with respect to the horizontal direction.
