An armature winding of a rotary electric machine includes two systems of electrically independent windings. An armature winding of a first system is closer to the field element in the radial direction than an armature winding of a second system, A current control device is provided for controlling a current to the armature winding of the first system and the armature winding of the second system. In consideration of a difference in magnetic flux waveforms from the field element caused by a difference in the distance to the field element in the radial direction, the current control device differentiates a current waveform to the armature winding of the first system from a current waveform to the armature winding of the second system.

Rotary electric machine and method for controlling rotary electric machine

A rotor with four axially stacked rotor cores, and a plurality of field magnets interposed between them. Each rotor core includes a rotor-side claw-shaped magnetic pole. Each rotor-side claw-shaped magnetic poles are respectively extending from and formed on each rotor core at equal angle intervals. Tip end surfaces of the first and third rotor-side claw-shaped magnetic pole abut against or are closely opposed to each other axially. Tip end surfaces of the second and fourth rotor-side claw-shaped magnetic poles abut against or are closely opposed to each other in the axial direction. The plurality of field magnets are magnetized in the axial direction such that the field magnets causes the first and third rotor-side claw-shaped magnetic poles to function as first magnetic poles, and cause the second and fourth rotor-side claw-shaped magnetic poles to function as second magnetic poles.

Rotor, stator and motor

This motor includes a two-layer rotor, a two-layer stator and a control unit. An A-phase rotor includes a pair of rotor cores and a field magnet. A B-phase rotor includes a pair of rotor cores and a field magnet. An A-phase stator includes a pair of stator cores and an A-phase winding. A B-phase stator includes a pair of stator cores and a B-phase winding. The control unit controls an A-phase input voltage applied to the A-phase winding, and a B-phase input voltage applied to the B-phase winding. The relative arrangement angle of the A-phase stator and the A-phase rotor relative to the B-phase stator and the B-phase rotor is set to an electrical angle of 90 degrees. The control unit applies a leading phase angle to the basic voltage waveforms of the A-phase input voltage and the B-phase input voltage, to set the energization width to at most 180 degrees.

Motor, motor control method and motor control device

A motor includes a rotor and a stator. The rotor includes a first rotor core including a plurality of first claw-like magnetic poles, a second rotor core including a plurality of second claw-like magnetic poles, and a magnetic field magnet arranged between the first and second rotor cores. The first and second claw-like magnetic poles are alternately arranged in a circumferential direction. The magnetic field magnet causes the first and second claw-like magnetic poles to function as magnetic poles different from each other. The stator includes a first stator core including a plurality of first claw-like magnetic poles, a second stator core including a plurality of second claw-like magnetic poles, and a coil section arranged between the first and second stator cores. The stator is configured to cause the first and second claw-like magnetic poles of the stator to function as magnetic poles different from each other and switch polarities of the magnetic poles on the basis of energization to the coil section. At least ones of the claw-like magnetic poles of the rotor and the claw-like magnetic poles of the stator are formed in a shape in which circumferential centers of distal end portions are shifted in the circumferential direction with respect to circumferential centers of proximal end portions.

Motor and rotor

A motor includes a stator and a rotor. The stator includes an inner circumference stator section and an outer circumference stator section. The inner circumference stator section and the outer circumference stator section each include two stator cores and a coil. The two stator cores each include claw poles and are coupled to each other. The coil is arranged between the two stator cores. The rotor includes an inner circumference magnet and an outer circumference magnet. The inner circumference magnet, which is arranged at an inner circumferential side of the inner circumference stator section, opposes the claw poles in the radial direction. The outer circumference magnet, which is arranged at an outer circumferential side of the outer circumference stator section, opposes the claw poles in the radial direction. The inner circumference stator section and the inner circumference magnet form an inner circumference motor unit. The outer circumference stator section and the outer circumference magnet form an outer circumference motor unit.

Claw pole stator motor and blower

A rotor includes magnetic pole portions and first and second ferric core portions. The first and second ferric core portions are each located between magnetic pole portions in the circumferential direction of a rotor. A first gap is formed between the first or second ferric core portion and a magnetic pole portion at a first circumferential side. A second gap is formed between the first or second ferric core portion and the magnetic pole portion at a second circumferential side. The first gap has a smaller width than the second gap at the first ferric core portion. The first ferric core portion is inclined toward the first circumferential side. The first gap is larger than the second gap at the second ferric core portion. The second ferric core portion is inclined toward the second circumferential side.

Rotor and motor

A motor has a plurality of permanent magnet pieces aligned is such a manner as to surround an armature core and a magnetic-flux guide ring disposed between the permanent magnet pieces and the armature core for introducing a magnetic flux from the permanent magnet pieces to the armature core. The magnetic-flux guide ring has a confronting portion confronting each of the magnet pieces, an aperture formed in the confronting portion, and a connecting portion connecting adjacent two confronting portions. The aperture is formed in such a manner as to confront a boundary of adjacent magnet pieces.

Motor

Teeth of a stator core are arranged one after another in the circumferential direction at alternating first and second pitches. Each corresponding adjacent two of the teeth, which are spaced from each other by the first pitch, are wound with corresponding two, respectively, of stator coils, which form a corresponding common phase. Each corresponding adjacent two of the teeth, which are spaced from each other by the second pitch, are wound with corresponding two, respectively, of the stator coils, which form corresponding different phases, respectively.

Brushless motor

In a brushless motor, a stator includes an annular core member. A rotatable shaft is placed radially inward of the core member and extends in an axial direction. A rotor is supported by the rotatable shaft. A centerpiece supports the core member and includes a center portion, which is placed radially inward of the core member. A platy vibration absorbing member connects between the core member and the center portion of the centerpiece and damps circumferential vibrations transmitted from the core member.
