An antenna device includes: a feeding element having a feedpoint that a signal in a first frequency band and a signal in a second frequency band lower than the first frequency band are supplied to; a high-band element connected to the feeding element, the high-band element resonating with the signal in the first frequency band; a low-band element connected to the feeding element, the low-band element resonating with the signal in the second frequency band; an auxiliary element capacitively coupled to the low-band element at an open end of the low-band element; a ground member grounded; and a switch switching a conductive state and a non-conductive state between the ground member and the auxiliary element.

Antenna device

A multiband compatible antenna that resonates at a first frequency and a second frequency includes: a planar conductor including a feeding portion to which a signal is supplied, a grounding portion, and a slit between the feeding portion and grounding portion. The slit includes a first slit portion extending in a first direction and a second slit portion extending in a second direction intersecting the first direction from an end of the first slit portion. The first slit portion is disposed closer to one edge than a center of the planar conductor in the second direction, and the feeding portion is disposed to a side of the first slit portion closer to the one edge. The planar conductor includes a first element portion and a second frequency portion that resonate at the first frequency and the second frequency, respectively. The second slit portion is disposed in the first element portion.

Multiband compatible antenna and radio communication device

A wireless module includes: a substrate; a ground pattern formed on the substrate; a heat generating component mounted on the substrate and connected to the ground pattern; a pattern antenna including a grounding part connected to the ground pattern and a power feeding part fed with power from the heat generating component, the pattern antenna being formed on the substrate; and a conductive base plate electrically connected to the ground pattern and disposed opposite to the pattern antenna.

Wireless module and image display device

A wireless module includes a substrate, a ground pattern disposed on the substrate, a first antenna, a second antenna, and a base plate that is conductive. The first antenna is disposed between one end of the substrate and the ground pattern, and includes a grounding part and a first power feeding part, the grounding part is connected to the ground pattern, and the first power feeding part is fed with a first signal. The second antenna is disposed between the other end of the substrate and the ground pattern, and includes a second power feeding part fed with a second signal. The base plate includes a first opposed portion that faces the first antenna, a second opposed portion that faces the second antenna, and a third opposed portion that faces the ground pattern and is short-circuited to the ground pattern. The base plate also has, on the third opposed portion, a short-circuit point at which the base plate and the ground pattern are short-circuited to each other. The short-circuit point is disposed on the third opposed portion at a position nearer to the first opposed portion than to the second opposed portion.

An antenna includes: a radiating element that is formed of a conductor and radiates electromagnetic waves when supplied with electrical power; and a parasitic element that is (i) formed of a conductor, (ii) provided near the radiating element so as to be electromagnetically coupled with the radiating element, (iii) provided in a plane substantially perpendicular to a plane including the radiating element, and (iv) guides the electromagnetic waves without being supplied with electrical power.
