A hydrogen storage alloy suitable for a negative electrode of an on-board alkaline storage battery, an alkaline storage battery using this hydrogen storage alloy, and a vehicle; wherein a fine-grained hydrogen storage alloy is used for an alkaline storage battery that has a crystal structure of an AB-type structure as a main phase and is represented by a general formula: (LaSm)MgNiAlCr(where suffixes a, b, c, d, and e meet the following conditions: 0≤a≤0.35, 0.15≤b≤0.30, 0.02≤d≤0.10, 0≤e≤0.10, 3.20≤c+d+e≤3.50, and 0<a+e), and an alkaline storage battery using this hydrogen storage alloy for a negative electrode. A vehicle also includes this alkaline storage battery as an electricity supply source for a motor.

Disclosed is a method for manufacturing an all-solid-state lithium ion battery in which a laminated battery is coated with a thermosetting resin, capable of preventing the thermosetting resin from cracking due to charge and discharge of the all-solid-state lithium ion battery after the battery is coated with the thermosetting resin, the method including a first step of laminating a cathode layer, a solid electrolyte layer and an anode layer to form a laminated battery having both end faces in a lamination direction and side faces, a second step of charging the laminated battery until the laminated battery has 100% to 112% of state of charge, a third step of coating at least the side faces of the laminated battery that is charged with a thermosetting resin in an uncured state, and a fourth step of heating to cure the thermosetting resin.

The main object of the present invention is to provide an all solid state battery with capability of inhibiting heat generation of an anode layer. The present invention solves the problem by providing an all solid state battery comprising a cathode layer, an anode layer, and a solid electrolyte layer formed between the cathode layer and the anode layer, wherein at least one of the anode layer and the solid electrolyte layer contains a sulfide solid electrolyte material; the anode layer contains an anode active material that is graphite, and contains an additive; and the additive has an oxide that is at least one kind of MoO, SbO, and MnCO, and a coating portion that coats at least a part of the oxide and includes a resin with a hydrocarbon chain as a main chain.
