A controller (a control unit) of a power supply system of a vertical take-off and landing aircraft is configured to: after lift is generated by wings (a front wing and a rear wing), perform stop control of controlling electric power supplied to a motor so that rotation of a VTOL rotor continues to stop; temporarily cancel the stop control in response to the temperature of any one switching element detected by a temperature detection unit (a temperature sensor) becoming equal to or higher than a temperature threshold during the stop control; and resume the stop control after the stop control has been temporarily canceled.

Multicopter

An aircraft and a control method therefor. The aircraft has: a velocity acquisition unit that acquires the velocity of the aircraft; a roll angle calculation unit that calculates the roll angle of the aircraft; a turning radius calculation unit that calculates the turning radius of the aircraft on the basis of the velocity and the roll angle; and a yaw rate calculation unit that calculates the yaw rate of the aircraft on the basis of the velocity and the turning radius. A control unit controls flight of the aircraft on the basis of the roll angle and the yaw rate.

Aircraft and control method for same

An image stabilizer applicable to a monocular or binocular optical system. The stabilizer includes an erecting prism placed between an objective lens and an eyepiece to compensate for deterioration in a quality of an observed image caused by hands movement. The image stabilizer includes a gimbal suspension system having pivot shafts respectively extending to left and right sides of the optical axis of the optical system. The pivot shafts have a common pivot axis perpendicular to the optical axis. The gimbal suspension system has an erecting-prism holder supported by the pivot shafts, an angular velocity detector for detecting an angular displacement of the erecting prism, and a voice coil motor for pivoting the erecting-prism holder.

An image stabilizing device and system for a binocular telescope having a pair of telescopic optical systems each comprising an objective lens, a gimbal mounted erecting prism and an eyepiece lens which is capable of compensating for deterioration in quality of an observed image due to user hand shake or other external vibrations.

Image stabilizing device and system for telescopic optical instruments

An optical image stabilizer for a telescopic instrument having an objective lens, an erect prism, and an eyepiece lens arranged in this order which is capable of compensating for image deteriorations of an observed image due to external vibrations. The optical image stabilizer has a gimbal device mounted on a telescope housing, an external gimbal frame rotatably mounted on the gimbal casing, and an internal gimbal frame with the erect prism fixed thereto. Voice coil motors are provided for rotating the external and the internal gimbal frames. One of the voice coil motors has a coil disposed on the circuit board and a permanent magnet disposed on either one of the external and the internal gimbal frames oppositely to the coil. The remaining voice coil motor has a coil disposed on the circuit board and a permanent magnet disposed on the other gimbal frame oppositely to the coil.

Optical image stabilizer

A pump motor of a hydraulic hybrid system also serves as a pump to supply hydraulic oil or lubricating oil to a power train, thus enabling elimination of an oil pump provided in the power train and hence reductions in the number of parts and cost, and, in addition, an existing oil pan provided in the power train and the like are utilized for the hydraulic hybrid system, which in turn enables achieving further reductions in the number of parts and cost. Moreover, when idle-reduction control is performed on an engine, during engine's stopped conditions, the pump motor can be driven as a motor by hydraulic pressure accumulated in an accumulator to start the engine and supply the hydraulic pressure to a transmission, thus eliminating a need to provide a motor-driven oil pump for the idle-reduction control and hence enabling a further reduction in cost.

In this process, one end in an axis (L) direction of the rotor () disposed on an inside in a radial direction is coaxially connected to the second drive source (), and one end in the axis (L) direction of the distributor () disposed on an outside in a radial direction is connected to the first drive source () via a gear train (), and therefore, it is possible to individually rotate the distributor () and the rotor () while achieving a compact size by arranging the first and second drive sources () in a concentrated manner at one end in the axis (L) direction of a liquid flow rate control valve ().

The present invention provides a pair of binoculars having a pair of supporters for supporting adjustment lenses provided between a pair of ocular optical systems and a pair of objective optical systems so as to be capable of moving forward and backward along the optical axis, a focusing gear for performing a focusing operation by moving said pair of supporters forward or backward at the same time in the direction of optical axis, a diopter adjuster for performing a diopter adjustment by moving one supporter forward or backward in the direction of optical axis as keeping the other supporter stationary, and a focusing and diopter adjusting unit having a changeover gear for changing over the focusing gear and the diopter adjuster to each other.
