A medium storage box includes a guide member and a liquid spraying mechanism. The guide member forms a stacking space for a medium. The liquid spraying mechanism sprays a liquid from a liquid spraying nozzle. The liquid spraying nozzle has a pipe section through which liquid flows, a first liquid spray hole and a second liquid spray hole. The first liquid spray hole sprays liquid in a direction that intersects an extension direction of the pipe section at substantially a right angle. The second liquid spray hole sprays liquid in a direction that is approximately the extension direction of the pipe section.

Medium storage box and medium handling device

A medium handling device is provided including a stage on which a rectangular shaped medium is stacked in an vertical direction, and a liquid spraying mechanism including plural liquid spray nozzles that extend along the vertical direction and that spray a liquid at a medium stacked on an upper face of the stage. The plural liquid spray nozzles are respectively provided at positions facing at least three side edges of the stacked medium, and each of the plural liquid spray nozzles is disposed so as to spray the liquid at a specific spray angle with respect to the respective facing side edge.

Medium handling device

Provided is a money processing device whereby it is possible to alleviate a deterioration in security when a storage unit is extracted. A money processing device comprises: a deposit/withdrawal part which is disposed upon one end side of a device main body in the longitudinal direction which faces a customer, and whereby money is either deposited or withdrawn; and storage units which are disposed to be removable with respect to the device main body and which store money. The storage units are extracted from the device main body at a location which is removed from the customer. The storage units are disposed to be removable with respect to the device main body from the other end side in the longitudinal direction.

Cash processing apparatus

A temporary holding section includes bridge portions that span along a shaft direction across respective groove portions of a drum at plural discrete locations around the drum circumferential direction. The temporary holding section can accordingly prevent an outer tape and an inner tape from slipping off into the groove portions, enabling damage to the tapes to be forestalled. The temporary holding section can also precisely determine the presence or absence of a banknote by shining a drum detection light toward the groove portions so as to pass through opening hole portions.

An apparatus includes one-side reels rotatably arranged, one-side tapes wound around the one-side reels, a drum arranged to rotate in one direction to wind and store a medium with the medium being laid over the one-side tapes and in an opposite direction to pull out the wound medium, and retainers opposed to the one-side tapes with respect to the medium wound by or pulled out from the drum for abutting against a surface of the medium to hold the medium, the one-side tapes having a tape width shorter than the width of the medium corresponding to the length of the medium in a direction perpendicular to a transfer direction of the medium, the one-side tapes being arranged in parallel and spaced with a spacing shorter than the width of the medium in a direction of the width of the medium to abut against another surface of the medium.

Medium storage and advancing apparatus

A medium stocking apparatus includes a housing having an open area, reels on which tapes are wound, a diverting unit for turning backward the tapes, a cylindrical drum on which a medium is wound with the tapes overlaid, and an openable unit for closing and opening an internal space from and to outside. During an operation, a closed state can be retained, and, during a maintenance work, an open state can be achieved, in which the openable unit is rotated in an upward direction for displacing upper tapes. The medium stocking apparatus can thus be offered which allows a maintenance work with high workability without impairing the tapes.
