A crimp terminal includes a terminal connection portion electrically connected to a counterpart terminal; and a plate-shaped electric wire connection portion electrically connected to an end portion of an electric wire placed on an inner wall surface side by a crimping process during which the electric wire connection portion is sandwiched between a first die and a second die. The electric wire connection portion includes a bottom on which the end portion of the electric wire is placed in the crimping process, and first and second barrel pieces that are extended from both ends of the bottom and are rolled to a region from a tip core to a coating at an end portion of the electric wire by the crimping process.

Crimp terminal having a groove for facilitating crimping workability and a water stop member

A terminal crimping device includes a terminal feeding device, a crimping device and an electric-wire holding mechanism that holds an electric wire with an end portion of the electric wire placed above an electric-wire connecting portion of a crimp terminal. The electric-wire holding mechanism includes an upper surface of a terminal cutting body, on which the electric wire is placed, and an electric-wire presser that is moved downward toward the upper surface and presses and thereby holds the electric wire placed on the upper surface. Between the electric-wire placing portion and a lower surface of the electric-wire presser, an electric-wire holding space is formed that inclines in the same direction to a declining direction in which the end portion of the electric wire is declined in association with downward move of the second die toward the first die, and that holds the electric wire in a thus inclined state.

Terminal crimping device

A method of manufacturing a crimping terminal includes a punching process of punching out a crimping terminal from a flat-plate-shaped metal base material, an attaching process of attaching a sheet-like water stop member to a wire connection portion being a portion in the crimping terminal that is to be crimped onto a wire, and a bending process of bending the wire connection portion to which the water stop member is attached. The wire connection portion may integrally cover a core wire and a covering of the wire by being crimped onto the wire.

Method of manufacturing crimping terminal

A terminal-equipped electrical wire includes a water-blocking material disposed between an inner side surface of an electrical wire connecting portion and a core wire to cover a distal end of the core wire, and the electrical wire connecting portion includes a bottom portion, a first crimping piece wrapped around the electrical wire, a second crimping piece wrapped around an outer side of the first crimping piece, and a plate-shaped protruding piece protruding from a side surface of the first crimping piece or the second crimping piece in an axial direction of the electrical wire, and the protruding piece is bent from a proximal end portion such that the protruding piece is closer to the distal end of the core wire toward a distal end side from a proximal end side of the protruding piece, and blocks at least a part of an opening of the electrical wire connecting portion.

Terminal-equipped electrical wire

A crimp terminal includes a terminal connecting portion, an electric wire connecting portion, and a coupling portion. The electric wire connecting portion is formed with a first barrel piece and a second barrel piece, the two facing each other, by bending processing on an electric wire side plate-shaped portion after two facing walls are formed by bending processing on a terminal side plate-shaped portion. The coupling portion is formed with two facing side walls by bending processing on a coupling side plate-shaped portion. Certain portions that will be the side walls later are formed with at least one tensile force absorbing portion that absorbs a tensile force between the terminal side plate-shaped portion side and the electric wire side plate-shaped portion side occurring during the bending processing on the terminal side plate-shaped portion.

Crimp terminal

A complex type fusible link which includes an insulative block base including a plurality of cavities; a conductive connecting plate which is integrally embedded in the insulative block base, a part of the conductive connecting plate being exposed to at least one of the cavities; a plurality of fusible elements each of which is accommodated in corresponding one of the cavities and includes a first end which is connected to the part of the conductive connecting plate and a second end; and a plurality of terminals each of which is integrally embedded in the insulative block base and includes a first end which is connected to the second end of corresponding one of the fusible elements and a second end which is exposed from the insulative block base, at least one of the fusible elements includes a fastening portion to which another fusible element is fastened.

Complex type fusible link, fuse box, and manufacturing method thereof

A terminal fitting includes a terminal connecting portion and an electric wire connecting portion. A water stop member is affixed to an inner wall surface of the electric wire connecting portion before crimping process and suppresses entering of water between the electric wire connecting portion and a core wire of the electric wire after the crimping. The electric wire connecting portion is formed into a U-shape by raising the first barrel piece and the second barrel piece from both ends of the bottom. The distal end of the first barrel piece is bent toward the second barrel piece, to form a gap between a slide contact surface on a descending second die and the distal end of the first barrel piece.

Crimp terminal and terminal crimping device

Provided is an assembly structure of an electrical junction box which makes it possible to fit an electrical component attachment block into an insulation case without provision of a lock mechanism. Included are a housing () provided in an insulation case () and configured to house an electrical component attachment block (); contact walls () provided in an inner wall of the housing (), and configured to come into contact with the housed electrical component attachment block (); a terminal receiving portion () provided to the insulation case (), on which to place a connection terminal (); and a fastening module () configure to screw-fix the connection terminal () placed on the terminal receiving portion () to a conduction bus bar () in the electrical component attachment block () housed in the housing (). The electrical component attachment block () is fitted into the insulation case () by fixing the connection terminal () to the conductor bus bar () by use of the fastening module () with the electrical component attachment block () put in contact with the contact walls ().

Assembly structure of electrical junction box

A manufacturing method of a complex type fusible link. The manufacturing method includes hollowing out a metal plate into a link-like conductor including a connecting plate and a terminal, cutting out the link-like conductor so as to separate the connecting plate and the terminal, forming, by insert molding, a block base including a cavity after setting the connecting plate and the terminal in a mold, and directly connecting a fusible element to an exposed portion of the connecting plate and an exposed portion of the terminal.

Method of manufacturing a complex fusible link

A fusible link unit which is fastened to a battery post clamp terminal clamped to an on-vehicle battery, includes: a bus bar made from a metal plate and including: a battery terminal including at least two mounting edges, and a plurality of fastening holes provided thereon and through which a fastening member of the battery post clamp terminal is inserted, each of the fastening holes corresponding to a respective one of the mounting edges; and at least one fusible portion provided at a side of the bus bar opposite to the battery terminal; and a resin case covering the bus bar except for the at least one fusible portion.

Fusible link unit

The present invention provides a complex type fusible link which includes an insulative block base including a plurality of cavities; a conductive connecting plate which is integrally embedded in the insulative block base, a part of the conductive connecting plate being exposed to at least one of the cavities; a plurality of fusible elements each of which is accommodated in corresponding one of the cavities and includes a first end which is connected to the part of the conductive connecting plate and a second end; and a plurality of terminals each of which is integrally embedded in the insulative block base and includes a first end which is connected to the second end of corresponding one of the fusible elements and a second end which is exposed from the insulative block base.

A fusible link unit includes a retaining portion that retains a frame portion of a battery. The frame portion is located at a corner portion of the battery. The retaining portion has a pair of leg portions which abut against two side surfaces forming the corner portion of the battery.

A fuseof the present invention includes a fuse body, a housingwhich is made of an insulative resin, and receives and holds the fuse body therein, the fuse body being inserted into the housing through an upper opening in the housing, and a coverwhich is made of an insulative resin, and covers the upper opening in the housing. Retaining portions, corresponding respectively to retaining clawsof a withdrawing jig for withdrawing the housing, are formed at a side surface of the housing. Therefore, the retaining claws of the withdrawing jig can be positively fixed to the housing, and a relatively large force is not required for the withdrawing operation, and therefore the withdrawing operation can be effected efficiently.

Fuse

A fuse unit includes first and second fuse devices. Each of the fuse devices includes a attaching portion to be attached to a battery terminal of a battery, a housing provided on the attaching portion and having a cavity which is opened forward and backward of the housing, and a fuse body having a first end which is electrically connected to the battery terminal and a second end which is covered with the housing to form a wire connection part, the fuse body having a fusible portion which is disposed in the cavity. When the housings are superposed in a direction away from the battery, at least one of the housings and the fuse bodies are constructed so that the fusible portions are checked as viewed in a forward direction of the housings.
