A purpose of the present invention is to improve the oil removal rate in an oil separator that separates and removes oil from gas including the oil as an impurity. The oil separator according to the present invention is characterized by including a first filter member () in a cylindrical shape made with a cylindrical filter material having an air permeability, and positioned such that the target gas flows in from a hollow part as well as a central axis is in an up-down direction, and a second filter member () made with a filter material having air permeability and wrapped around the first filter member () along an outer surface thereof with a predetermined spacing from the outer surface of the first filter member ().

Oil separator

There is provided a filter device for gas including: a cylindrical filter case formed to be airtight; a hollow filter which is formed with an opening in a bottom part thereof, a top part of which is obstructed, and which is placed inside the filter case in such a manner that a central axis thereof substantially aligns with a central axis of the filter case; and a flow controlling plate which is attached roundly between an outlet in the top part of the filter case and the top part of the hollow filter on an inner peripheral wall of the filter case, wherein gas introduced through an inlet in a bottom part of the filter case is introduced into a hollow part of the hollow filter, and also passes through a space between an outer periphery of the hollow filter and the inner peripheral wall of the filter case, and then is discharged through the outlet.

An improved mounting device for mounting heat exchanger elements in a motor vehicle, the mounting device including a shroud for containing and supporting heat exchangers elements and attachment members for removably securing the shroud to a selected supporting structure of a motor vehicle. The shroud includes an end wall having an opening therein, a continuous sidewall extending from the end wall for encasing the heat exchanger elements and having an open end, and circulation members for moving a cooling medium through the shroud, the medium being admitted through the open end of the sidewall and being discharged through the opening in the end wall.

Motor vehicle with improved radiator and condenser mounting device

Each of a pair of heat exchangers, such as a radiator and a condenser, includes a tubular structure defining a fluid flow path between an inlet manifold and an outlet manifold. The heat exchangers reside in juxtaposition for a unit with the respective fluid flow paths being congruently aligned along the axis of a stream of cooling medium passing therethrough. The heat exchangers are sealingly encased within a shroud for directing the stream of cooling medium through the tubular structures. The shroud, which is alternately usable with a conventional radiator, and the heat exchanger units are installed in a motor vehicle as a pre-fabricated modular cooling unit.
