An object of the present invention is to provide shoes with good fitting property. The present invention provides a shoe including: a solewhich absorbs landing impact; and an upperwhich covers an instep of a foot. The upper has a first openingthrough which the foot is inserted when wearing the shoe. The upperis partly or entirely made of a material which has negative Poisson's ratios.

A mid sole arranged on an outsole having a tread surface, the mid sole including: an upper layer and a lower layer, wherein one of the upper layer and the lower layer includes a layer of a first foamed body having a thermoplastic resin component; in another one of the upper layer and the lower layer, one or two or more of a majority of a flat area of a front foot portion, a majority of a flat area of a middle foot portion, and a majority of a flat area of a rear foot portion includes a layer of a second foamed body having a thermoplastic resin component; and the second foamed body has a greater specific gravity than the first foamed body, and is formed by a low-resilience material having a low speed of recovering to its original shape after being deformed.

Mid sole having layered structure

Disclosed is a shoe sole comprising an outer sole F, B, a midsole and a reinforcement device made of a resin plate. The reinforcement device is firmly secured to the underside of an arch portion M of the midsole At a medial side and a lateral side of the foot, the reinforcement device is shaped like an arch between separated outer sole parts F and B. A medial foot portion of the reinforcement device is formed to have a higher hardness than a lateral foot portion of the reinforcement device . This allows the reinforcement device to have a greater flexural rigidity in its medial foot portion than in its lateral foot portion

Disclosed is a shoe sole comprising an outer sole F, B, a midsole and a reinforcement device made of a resin plate.
