A clamp for a winged needle that functions simultaneously as a protector and as a clamp and that does not require a recapping operation is provided. The clamp includes a flexible curved portionincluding a tube insertion holeprovided on the proximal side and an upper memberand a lower memberconnected via the curved portionand which can be engaged on the distal sides thereof. The clamp is adapted to pressurize the tubewhen the upper memberand the lower memberare engaged, and to generate a clearance through which at least a wingcan be introduced when the upper memberand the lower memberare not engaged. The upper memberor the lower memberis provided with a spacein which the needleand the hubcan be stored.

Clamp for winged needle

A piercing needle having a low piercing resistance even if repeatedly caused to pierce is provided. The piercing needle has an undercoat of a silane coupling agent, preferably, an amino group-containing alkoxysilane or an epoxy group-containing alkoxysilane, and an outer surface of a mixture of a (1) reactive silicone such as a reaction product of an amino group-containing alkoxysilane, an epoxy group-containing alkoxysilane and a silicone having silanol groups at both terminal ends, with (2) a non-reactive silicone.
