A rotary electric machine includes a stator. A plurality of slots are formed in a stator core of the stator, and a coil and an insulating sheet layer are inserted into the slots. A first coil side surface and a second coil side surface of the coil inserted into the slots serve as adhesive regions, which are adhered to a slot inner circumferential surface via the insulating sheet layer. In addition, a first coil end surface and a second coil end surface of the coil inserted into the slots serve as non-adhesive regions, which are maintained in a non-contact manner with respect to the slot inner circumferential surface.

A stator includes a middle point coil of a winding accommodated in slots of a stator core and mounted on the stator core, a thermistor configured to detect a temperature of the middle point coil of the winding, and insulating paper that is wound on the thermistor and an outer circumference of the middle point coil of the winding and both side portions of the insulating paper being adhered with each other, and that is configured to fix the thermistor to the middle point coil of the winding while the thermistor is in a contact state with the middle point coil of the winding.

The permanent magnet has an arc shape which is convex toward an axial line. The permanent magnet is supported in the rotor core in such a manner that circumferential ends abut on an inner surface of the magnet insertion hole. A circumferential center portion of the permanent magnet is separated from an outer-circumference-side inner surface of the magnet insertion hole. In the circumferential center portion of the permanent magnet, a gap is provided between an outer-circumference-side outer surface of the permanent magnet and the outer-circumference-side inner surface of the magnet insertion hole.

A cooling structure of a rotary electric machine for power generation which includes a rotor and a stator includes a stator core which is formed in an annular shape to surround the rotor and has a plurality of slots arranged in a circumferential direction and extending from one end to another end in a center axis direction, a conductor disposed in the slots, and a cooling unit which cools the conductor. Opening portions of the slots are formed in an inner peripheral surface of the stator core, the opening portions extend toward a downstream side in a rotation direction of the rotor at a time of regeneration from at least one end portions to intermediate portions in the center axis direction, and the cooling unit cools portions of the conductor which are located at the same positions as the intermediate portions of the opening portions in the center axis direction.

A cooling structure of a rotary electric machine for power generation which includes a rotor and a stator includes a stator core which is formed in an annular shape to surround the rotor and has a plurality of slots arranged in a circumferential direction and extending from one end to the other end in a center axis direction, a conductor which is disposed in the slots and has a protruding portion protruding from the slots in the center axis direction, a cooling unit which cools the protruding portion. Opening portions of the slots are formed in an inner peripheral surface of the stator core, and the opening portions extend toward an upstream side in a rotation direction of the rotor at a time of regeneration from ends on the protruding portion side toward intermediate portions in the center axis direction.

A stator includes a stator core, a through hole provided in the stator core, and a insertion member which is fitted into the through hole and has an insertion space, through which a bolt passes. The insertion member includes an outer circumferential member to be fitted in the through hole, an inner circumferential member including a hollow portion forming the insertion space, and an elastic member provided between the outer circumferential member and the inner circumferential member. A lower end portion of the inner circumferential member further protrudes downwardly compared to a lower end surface of the outer circumferential member and a lower end surface of the stator core, and an upper end portion of the inner circumferential member further protrudes upwardly compared to an upper end surface of the outer circumferential member and an upper end surface of the stator core.

A stable-quality rotary electric machine system in which one or more rotary electric machine characteristics are normalized from various viewpoints. The rotary electric machine system is provided with: a rotary electric machine having a rotor, a stator, and a stator coil; and a controller configured to execute drive control of the rotary electric machine. The controller applies, to a drive control signal for the rotary electric machine, normalization information, which normalizes the drive control signal for the rotary electric machine, derived by comparing specific information about a value correlated to an induced voltage occurring in the stator coil when the rotor of the rotary electric machine is driven under prescribed conditions and predetermined reference information about the value correlated to the induced voltage occurring in the stator coil. Then, the drive control signal normalized by the application is used to execute the drive control of the rotary electric machine.

Rotary electric machine system, rotary electric machine system-installed vehicle, and method for manufacturing rotary electric machine system

A stator core of a rotating electric machine, includes a base, teeth, slots, and cutouts. The base includes a through-hole having a substantially cylindrical shape surrounded by an inner circumferential wall around a center axis of the substantially cylindrical shape. Teeth are arranged around the center axis and extending along a radial direction of the substantially cylindrical shape from the inner circumferential wall toward the center axis. Each of the teeth has a first end surface and a second end surface opposite to the first end surface in the center axis. Each of the slots is defined between a tooth and another tooth adjacent to the tooth among the teeth such that a coil is to be provided into each of the slots. Each of the cutouts is provided in the first end surface to face an inner surface of a bent portion of the coil.

Stator core

A rotor core has a rotational axis. A permanent magnet has a polygonal shape viewed along the rotational axis. The rotor core includes a magnet insertion hole defined by an inner wall. The polygonal shape includes first to third sides. The magnet insertion hole includes: a first space provided between the first side and the inner wall; a second space provided between the second side and the inner wall; and an injection portion, a first communication portion, and a second communication portion provided between the third side and the inner wall; viewed along the rotational axis. The first communication portion and the second communication portion connect the injection portion to the first space and the second space, respectively. The first communication portion has a first length along the third side. The second communication portion has a second length along the third side which is equal to the first length.

Rotary electric machine rotor

A rotor includes a rotor core, a plurality of permanent magnets, and a rotating shaft. The rotor core includes a through-hole, an inner circumference-side rotor core, an outer circumference-side rotor core, an annular portion, a plurality of inner circumference-side ribs, and a plurality of outer circumference-side ribs. The through-hole is provided on a first inner circumference side of magnet insertion holes. The inner circumference-side rotor core is located on a second inner circumference side of the through-hole. The outer circumference-side rotor core is located on an outer circumference side of the through-hole. The annular portion has a substantially annular shape, and is being provided inside the through-hole. The plurality of inner circumference-side ribs connect the inner circumference-side rotor core and the annular portion and are provided at predetermined intervals in a circumferential direction.

Permanent magnet rotor with inner and outer circumferential inclined ribs

A rotary electric machine apparatus includes a drive motor and a power generator. The drive motor and the power generator each include a stator. The stator includes a stator core and stator coils. The stator core has a plurality of slots which extend through the stator in an axis direction of the stator and which are disposed in a circumferential direction of the stator with a predetermined interval. The stator coils for a plurality of phases are each disposed in the plurality of slots as a distributed winding. The drive motor is provided such that a shift direction of the stator coils and a torque direction of the drive motor are opposite to each other. The power generator is provided such that the shift direction of the stator coils and a torque direction of the power generator are a same as each other.

Rotary electric machine unit

A rotary electric machine includes a rotor, and a stator. The rotor includes poles having slots and magnets. Each of the slots includes a first housing hole, a pair of second housing holes, a pair of first ribs, a pair of second ribs, and an area of a first space. The first housing hole is disposed near an outer periphery of the rotor to be substantially parallel with an outer peripheral surface of the rotor. The pair of second housing holes are provided symmetrically with respect to the first housing hole to be inclined toward the outer periphery away from the first housing hole. The pair of first ribs are each provided between the first housing hole and each of the pair of second housing holes. The pair of first ribs are each provided between the first housing hole and each of the pair of second housing holes.

A driving apparatus includes a first electrical rotating machine, a second electrical rotating machine, a first resolver, and a second resolver. The first resolver is configured to detect a rotation angle of the first electrical rotating machine. The second resolver is configured to detect a rotation angle of the second electrical rotating machine. The first and second electrical rotating machines and the first and second resolvers are coaxially disposed inside a casing. The first resolver and the second resolver are provided between the first electrical rotating machine and the second electrical rotating machine.

Driving apparatus

A rotor of a rotary electric machine includes a rotor core, a plurality of magnet groups, and a plurality of grooves provided between adjacent slot groups. A circumferential rib is provided at a first position on an outer circumferential surface of each of the magnets. A radial direction rib is provided at a second position on a circumferential direction surface of each of the magnets. A curved rib connects the circumferential rib and the radial direction rib, and has an inner surface and an outer surface both being curved in an circular arc shape. The circumferential rib, the curved rib, and the radial direction rib are spaced apart from the outer circumferential surface, the outer circumferential corner, and the circumferential direction surface of each of the magnets.

Rotor of rotary electric machine

A rotor of a rotary electric machine includes a rotor core and a plurality of magnetic parts. The rotor core has a plurality of slots provided along a circumferential direction. Each of the slots is separated by a center rib. The plurality of magnetic parts are disposed inside the rotor core along the circumferential direction at a predetermined interval. Each of the magnetic parts has a magnetization direction alternating with each other. Each of the magnetic parts includes a pair of permanent magnets placed inside each of the slots. The rotor core comprises a plurality of through-holes and a reinforcement rib. The plurality of through-holes each extend in an axial direction on an inner circumferential side of each of the magnetic parts. The reinforcement rib is disposed in each of the through-holes and in alignment with a circumferential center line of the center rib.
