A compressor of an embodiment includes: a piston that is housed in a case and moves back and forth in an axis direction inside the case; a main shaft that i) extends in the axis direction inside the case, and ii) guides the piston to move in the axis direction; and a drive that drives the piston to move along the axis direction. The piston includes: a main shaft bush through which the main shaft passes in the axis direction; and a compression board that has an outer diameter greater than an outer diameter of the main shaft bush, and that is fixed to an end portion of the main shaft bush on a side in the axis direction. Fluid inside the case is compressed, and then is ejected to an outside of the case. The drive is arranged between the compression board and an end portion of the case.

Compressor

A compressor includes: a case, a piston, an elastic member, and a drive. The piston in the case moves along an axis direction. The elastic member in the case applies a force to the piston to move the piston in the axis direction toward a first side of the case. The drive causes the piston to move in the axis direction toward a second side of the case. The piston includes a rack extending in the axis direction. The drive includes: a motor, and a pinion that rotates in accordance with the motor, and that is engaged with the rack. The pinion includes: first and second toothed regions each having a pinion tooth; and first and second flat regions having no pinion tooth. A number of the pinion teeth formed on the first toothed region is greater than a number of the pinion teeth formed on the second toothed region.

A gas ejection apparatus includes: a cylinder having a rotating member that rotates within the cylinder; a motor coupled to the rotating member of the cylinder and that causes gas to be compressed inside the cylinder and to be ejected from the cylinder by causing rotation of the rotating member; a control circuit board that controls the motor; and a case in which the cylinder, the motor and the control circuit board are disposed. The case extends in a planar direction and has side surfaces that are orthogonal to the planar direction. The motor and the cylinder are arranged adjacent to each other in the planar direction of the case. The control circuit board is disposed adjacent to and substantially parallel to one of the side surfaces of the case.

Gas ejection apparatus

When a head-up display apparatus is used, a combiner stored in a storage position in a housing is moved to a use position in front of the housing. Thus, a storage space in the housing becomes unoccupied. A projector is moved to a projection position in the storage space that becomes unoccupied and unused.

Head-up display apparatus

On an on-vehicle apparatus that is installed on a vehicle, a display that has a long side and a short side and displays an image is rotated so that a vertical position of an upper side of the display in a first position where the long side becomes the upper side substantially coincides with the vertical position of the upper side of the display in a second position where the short side becomes the upper side. This allows the display to be set at an easily visible position for a user with less eye movement.

On-vehicle apparatus

A display system includes a display panel that displays information and a movement apparatus that moves the display panel. The movement apparatus includes: a slide mechanism configured to move the display panel linearly relative to a base chassis; a right-and-left tilt mechanism configured to change an angle of a display surface of the display panel in a right-and-left direction; an up-and-down tilt mechanism configured to change an angle of the display surface of the display panel in an up-and-down direction; and a rotation mechanism configured to rotate the display panel on a rotation axis orthogonal to the display surface of the display panel.
