A mobile terminal including a touch panel including a plurality of touch panel electrodes; a stylus pen configured to perform transmission and reception of an electric signal with the touch panel using capacitive coupling and without using a separate power supply to the stylus pen; and a controller configured to, when the electric signal is received from the stylus pen through the capacitive coupling, detect a location of the stylus pen with respect to the touch panel based on signal magnitudes of at least two touch panel electrodes from which the electrical signal is detected.

A mobile terminal having a stylus pen and a touch panel is provided. The mobile terminal includes a touch panel having a plurality of touch panel electrodes, and a stylus pen provided to transmit and receive an electrical signal to and from the touch panel using capacitive coupling, wherein the stylus pen includes a main body, a pen tip formed of a conductor and protruding to outside of the main body to apply a touch to the touch panel, and an LC circuit provided within the main body, configured to include an inductor and a capacitor, and electrically connected to the pen tip to generate capacitive coupling between the LC circuit an the touch panel.

An integrated circuit according to the disclosure includes a plurality of comparators including a positive input terminal receiving a first input signal that varies depending on a touch position, a negative input terminal receiving a second input signal, and an output terminal outputting a comparison signal of the first and second input signals; and an operation unit generating a position signal by reading out the comparison signal of the comparators.

Disclosed is a touch panel. The touch panel includes a touch screen provided therein with a plurality of X electrode lines and a plurality of Y electrode lines which cross each other, and a plurality of comparators connected between first and second Y electrode lines adjacent to each other. The touched position on the touch screen is detected according to an output code formed by using output values of the comparators.

Disclosed is a WDR pixel array having high sensitivity under the middle intensity of illumination and high intensity of illumination by using the 4T pixel structure representing high sensitivity under the low intensity of illumination. According to the embodiment, the overflow charges generated under the very high intensity of illumination are not discarded or partially stored, but read through the 3T pixel operation, so that the WDR pixel array having high sensitivity under the middle intensity of illumination and high intensity of illumination can be obtained based on the 4T pixel structure without additionally providing a transistor or a photodiode for the high intensity of illumination in the WDR pixel array.
