A vehicle temperature control system includes: a first temperature control circuit; a second temperature control circuit; a heat exchanger in which heat exchange between a first temperature control medium and a second temperature control medium is performed; and a control device. The control device is capable of controlling a carrier frequency and a flow rate control valve of the second temperature control circuit based on the temperature of the first temperature control medium detected. In a case where the temperature of the first temperature control medium is lower than a predetermined value, the control device is configured to set the carrier frequency to be lower and controls the flow rate control valve such that the flow rate to a second branch flow path is smaller, as compared with a case where the temperature of the first temperature control medium is equal to or higher than the predetermined value.

Vehicle temperature control system

A first and second electric members respectively having electrical connection portions are electrically connected in a state that mutual positions are regulated by guide pins, and fastening screws which are inserted through fastening screw insertion holes of the second electric member are screwed into screw holes for fastening of the first electric member, and thereby the first and second electric members are fastened. At least one of the screw holes for fastening has large-diameter portions into which the guide pin is detachably inserted, and small-diameter portions equipped with female screw portions. The female screw portions are not arranged in the large-diameter portions, and inner diameters of the large-diameter portions are larger than root diameters of the female screw portions, and outer circumferential surfaces of the fastening screws which are screwed with the female screw portions and inner circumferential surfaces of the large-diameter portions are not in contact with each other.

Fastening structure of electric member, fastening method of electric member and releasing method of electric member

A power plant is provided which is capable of not only achieving the improvement in responsiveness, weight reduction, and manufacturing cost reduction of the power plant, but also enhancing the efficiency of the vehicle. The rotational speeds of first to third rotary elements satisfy a collinear relationship in which the rotational speeds are aligned in a single straight line in a collinear chart in the mentioned order, with the first and second rotary elements being connected to a first rotating electric machine and wheels, respectively, and first and second blocking/connecting members of a first one-way clutch being connected to the first and second rotary elements, respectively. In a case where the first and second rotary elements rotate in a first predetermined rotational direction by transmission of rotational motive power from the first rotating electric machine, transmission of rotational motive power from the first blocking/connecting member to the second blocking/connecting member is blocked. In a case where the second and first rotary elements rotate in the first predetermined rotational direction by transmission of rotational motive power from the wheels, transmission of rotational motive power from the second blocking/connecting member to the first blocking/connecting member is connected. A second one-way clutch allows rotation of the third rotary element in the first predetermined rotational direction, and prevents rotation of the third rotary element in a direction opposite to the first predetermined rotational direction.

Power plant

A power supply device of a vehicle which allows capability of a charger to be sufficiently exhibited at the time of quick charging without increasing an operable voltage of an auxiliary device or the like is provided. The power supply device of a vehicle includes a first circuit in which a first capacitor is provided, a second circuit in which a second capacitor having a full charge voltage higher than that of the first capacitor is provided, a voltage converter provided between the first circuit and the second circuit, and an external terminal provided between the first capacitor and the voltage converter in the first circuit and to which an external charger is connected, in which a vehicle auxiliary device is connected to the first circuit, and a negative contactor electrically opening and closing between the vehicle auxiliary device and the external terminal is further provided.

Power supply device of vehicle

A hybrid vehicle is driven by a power unit which includes: a first rotating machine including a first rotor, a first stator, and a second rotor, wherein the number of magnetic poles generated by an armature row of the first stator and one of the first rotor and the second rotor are connected to a drive shaft; a power engine, wherein an output shaft of the power engine is connected to the other of the first rotor and the second rotor; a second rotating machine; and a capacitor. The hybrid vehicle includes: a state detector that detects a charge state of the capacitor; and a controller that controls the power unit. The controller controls the output of the power engine, based on a remaining capacity of the capacitor when driving the power engine in order to start the hybrid vehicle. Accordingly, it is possible to achieve reduction in the size and cost of the power unit and enhance the driving efficiency of the power unit.

Hybrid vehicle

A hybrid vehicle is driven by a power unit which includes: a first rotating machine including a first rotor, a first stator, and a second rotor, wherein the number of magnetic poles generated by an armature row of the first stator and one of the first rotor and the second rotor are connected to a drive shaft; a power engine, wherein an output shaft of the power engine is connected to the other of the first rotor and the second rotor; a second rotating machine; and a capacitor. A traveling mode of the hybrid vehicle includes an EV traveling mode and an ENG traveling mode, wherein the hybrid vehicle travels with a motive power from at least one of the first rotating machine and the second rotating machine in the EV traveling mode, and the hybrid vehicle travels with a motive power from the power engine in ENG traveling mode. The hybrid vehicle includes: an EV traveling mode predicting unit that predicts a switching from the ENG traveling mode to the EV traveling mode; and a controller that controls a remaining capacity of the capacitor in accordance with prediction result obtained by the EV traveling mode predicting unit so as to change a target value of the remaining capacity. Accordingly, it is possible to achieve reduction in the size and cost of the power unit and enhance the driving efficiency of the power unit.

A hybrid vehicle is driven by a power unit which includes: a first rotating machine including a first rotor, a first stator, and a second rotor, wherein the number of magnetic poles generated by an armature row of the first stator and one of the first rotor and the second rotor are connected to a drive shaft; a power engine, wherein an output shaft of the power engine is connected to the other of the first rotor and the second rotor; a second rotating machine; a capacitor; and a transformer that steps up an output voltage of the capacitor. The hybrid vehicle includes: a voltage demand calculator that calculates a voltage demand required for each of the first rotating machine and the second rotating machine in accordance with an operating condition of the hybrid vehicle; a step-up execution determining unit that allows the transformer to step up the voltage, when at least one of the voltage demand of the first rotating machine and the voltage demand of the second rotating machine is higher than a first threshold value; and a controller that controls the transformer in accordance with the result determined by the step-up execution determining unit. Accordingly, it is possible to achieve reduction in the size and cost of the power unit and enhance the driving efficiency of the power unit.

A power plant that is capable of attaining downsizing and reduction of manufacturing costs and enhancing the degree of freedom in design thereof. In the power plant, a first rotating machineincludes a first rotorhaving a predetermined plurality of magnetic poles, a statorthat generates a predetermined plurality of armature magnetic poles to thereby generate a rotating magnetic field, and a second rotorhaving a predetermined plurality of soft magnetic material elements. The ratio between the number of the armature magnetic poles, the number of the magnetic poles, and the number of the soft magnetic material elements is set to 1:m:(1+m)/2 (m&#x2260;1.0). One of the rotorsandis mechanically connected to an output portionof a heat engine, and the other of the rotorsandand a rotorof a second rotating machineare mechanically connected to driven parts DW and DW. Further, in starting the heat engine, when the rotational speed of the output portionis not lower than a first predetermined value NEST, the heat engineis started in a state where the rotational speed of the output portionis not increased.

An electric motor (M) includes first and second stators (L,R) on the outside forming a rotating magnetic field, an outer rotor () disposed inside the first and second stators (L,R) and having first and second induced magnetic poles (L,R), and an inner rotor () disposed inside the outer rotor () and having first and second permanent magnet (L,R). The phases of the first and second induced magnetic poles (L,R) of the outer rotor () are displaced from each other by only half of a predetermined pitch, and the phases of the first and second permanent magnets (L,R) of the inner rotor () are displaced from each other by only the predetermined pitch. Accordingly, the first and second stators (L,R) facing the first induced magnetic poles (L) and the second induced magnetic pole (R) can be made to have the same phase and polarity, thus simplifying the structures of the first and second stators (L,R).

Electric motor and rotor for rotating electric machine

A rotor body for an electric motor is comprised of connecting outer peripheral portions of first and second flange members made of electrically conductive material to the opposite ends of a plurality of connection members made of electrically conductive material of weak magnetic material arranged at predetermined distances therebetween in the circumferential direction with bolts and by supporting induction magnetic poles made of soft magnetic material between the connection members which are adjacent in the circumferential direction. Coupling portions of the first and second flange members and the connection member are electrically insulated by insulation coating so that an eddy current flowing in a closed circuit comprised of the first flange member, the connection member, the second flange member and the other connection member can be reduced and heat dissipation and energy loss accompanied by the eddy current can be minimized at the time of an operation.

Rotor for rotating electrical machine

A battery-type power supply unit includes a plurality of rod-shaped battery modules having a plurality of batteries connected together in series. Held tightly between two opposing ends of two batteries is an insulating ring having annular recesses into which these two ends can fit. Each battery module runs through and is supported by two plate-shaped members that are kept vertical on a base plate by frame members. Each plate-shaped member is an assembly of a plurality of grommets formed from two split halves. Connections between bus-bars and positive and negative electrodes of the battery modules can move toward and away from the positive and negative electrodes.
