A spinning and sliding detection device in a train includes: a change detection unit that periodically acquires a first detected value from a speed sensor, calculates a first change amount, using the first detected values, periodically acquires a second detected value from an acceleration sensor, calculates a second change amount, using the second detected values, and selects a change mode from a plurality of change modes defined for determining whether spinning or sliding has occurred at the train, using the first change amount, the second change amount, a first threshold, and a second threshold and outputs the selected change mode; and a spinning and sliding determination unit that determines whether spinning or sliding has occurred at the train and determines whether an anomaly has occurred in either the speed sensor or the acceleration sensor, based on the change mode acquired from the change detection unit.

A purpose of the invention is to provide a rail breakage detection device mountable also on a vehicle. The invention is directed to a rail breakage detection device that receives: transmission-device state information indicating whether a rail signal transmission device that sends a rail signal is normal; reception-device state information indicating whether a rail signal reception device that receives a voltage induced by the rail signal is normal; and reception state information indicating whether a voltage induced by the rail signal reception device is received, and the rail breakage detection device performs rail breakage detection on the basis of the transmission-device state information, the reception-device state information, and the reception state information.

A position calculator calculates measured positions and receiver clock errors, based on the satellite positioning signals and the moving path. A wireless train control system includes: a device that generates a track circuit state signal indicating whether a track circuit is picked up or dropped and a time-triggered track circuit state signal indicating a drop at a timing delayed by a set time after the track circuit state signal indicates that the track circuit is dropped; and a controller that generates a stop limit point of a wireless-control-compliant train by using presence information if a preceding train is a wireless-control-compliant train, and generates the stop limit point by using the track circuit state signal and the time-triggered track circuit state signal if the preceding train is a non-wireless-control-compliant train. The controller does not update the stop limit point if the track circuit state signal indicates that the track circuit is dropped while the time-triggered track circuit state signal indicates that the track circuit is picked up.

The rail fracture detection device detects a rail fracture in a section provided with the track circuit by determining presence or absence of a rail fracture and determining presence or absence of a train on a rail by using information on whether a relay of the track circuit is activated or deactivated and information on a current value of current flowing in the track circuit.

The wireless train control system controls a wireless-control compliant train following a wireless-control noncompliant train by a ground control device. A stop limit point of the wireless-control compliant train is set by a track circuit in which a tail end position of the wireless-control noncompliant train is present. By using a track-circuit state signal indicating that the track circuit is turned on or turned off and a time-element-added track-circuit state signal indicating turn-off at a timing delayed by a set time after the track-circuit state signal has indicated turn-off, when the track-circuit state signal indicates turn-off and the time-element-added track-circuit state signal indicates turn-on, it is determined that turn-off indicated by the track-circuit state signal is caused by the wireless-control compliant train that is a train itself being present, and the stop limit point is not updated.

Ground control device and wireless train control system

A train control device includes an on-vehicle base station mounted on a train, base stations that can communicate with the on-vehicle base station, an on-vehicle control device controlling an operation such that the train can stop before reaching a stop limit before which the train can run safely, and ground control devices that transmit, to the train side, the stop limit calculated based on information on the current position acquired from the train side via the base stations and opening information on a turnout on the ground. The on-vehicle control device calculates a channel-reservation start pattern, which is a pattern determining a reservation start position of a communication channel of a base station as a switching target when the base station as a communication partner to the on-vehicle base station is switched and in which the reservation start position is different according to train speed and train position.

In accordance with a predetermined segment definition rule based on a point-switch protection section, a point switch control direction, and a train advancing direction, a plurality of segments are defined in advance with respect to a railway network. Segment competition information in which a competitive relationship between the plurality of segments is set in advance is prepared. A segment use permission setting part determines whether or not a competition for a use-requested segment in terms of a train operation occurs between the plurality of trains, by using segment competition information and segment use permission status information. A use-requested segment for which it is determined that no competition occurs is incorporated, as a use permission segment, into use permission segment information of the corresponding train. In accordance with a result of the competition determination, the segment use permission status information is updated.

Train operation control system

A next station state estimating unit estimates a preceding train position from information about a stop track circuit of a current train and from a signal aspect table. It estimates the time, at which the preceding train exits the next station and brake pattern before the station is canceled, from information about the preceding train position, from information about the occupied track circuit on which the current train is present and related information between track circuits and a station and information about occupied duration of the station, which are retained in a track database, and from a history of the preceding train position retained in a history retaining unit. The time estimated is sent to a driver's cab by a communication unit.

Operation support device and automatic operation device

A train control system that does not allow running by erroneously receiving a signal of a further preceding train toward the front, nor permits a following train approaching another train beyond an allowable range. The system includes an existing signal system controlling running of a preceding train and a following train based on transmission signals from existing signal transmission devices, an inter-train communications system controlling running of the following train by an inter-train communications transmission signal received from the preceding train, and a train-ID transmission/reception system that detects, using a ground-based train-ID transmission/reception device, passing of the preceding train and also acquires train information of the preceding train, and that then detects passing of the following train and also transmits the train information to the following train, thereby controlling the running of the following train utilizing either one of the existing signal system and the inter-train communications system by changing over therebetween based on the train information.
