A clip device includes a sheath having a lumen with at least one open end and a plurality of clip arms movable between a first configuration in which the plurality of clip arms are opened to receive a target tissue, and a second configuration in which the plurality of clip arms are closed to grip the target tissue. Locking mechanisms respectively provided on the plurality of clip arms engage one another for maintaining the second configuration. A restraining mechanism is optionally configured to be associated with the locking mechanisms to prevent the target tissue from being pinched between the locking mechanisms.

Clip device for endoscope

A clip for gripping tissue can having a first arm with a first claw at a distal end of the first arm, and second arm, with a second claw at a distal end of the second arm, in which the first arm and second arm are configured to move in a direction toward each other to close the clip. The clips include one or more anchors on the arms of the clip which protrude in a direction other than the direction that the first arm and second arm are configured to move toward each other to close the clip. Such anchors can more readily attach to tissue of a patient upon contact than clips without an anchor.

Clip for endoscope

A clip device for gripping biological tissue of a patient includes a clip having a first arm and second arm closeable by operation of a wire that is reciprocally moveable in a longitudinal channel of a sheath; and a bendable member at a distal end region of the sheath. The bendable member can be an integral portion of the sheath or a separate structure. The bendable member is configured to allow a distal end of a clip to rotate or swing toward a proximal end region of the sheath of the device, which orients the clip relative to the sheath to facilitate grasping of tissue even when the approach of the clip is tangential to the tissue, e.g., at an angle (θ) less than 90. The bendable member can be configured to allow a distal end of a clip to rotate or swing toward a proximal end region of a sheath and form an angle of up to at least about 45 degrees, such up to about 60 degrees or up to about 90 degrees, or higher.

Bendable clip device

A tissue clipping device and system, and method for clipping tissue are disclosed. The tissue clipping device includes a clip with clip arms that is slidably disposed within a channel of a lock tube. The clip is designed to move between an open configuration in which distal ends of the clip arms are separated from each other for receiving tissue therebetween, and a closed configuration in which the distal ends of the clip arms are closer to each other than in the open configuration for clipping the tissue received therebetween. The tissue clipping system further includes a delivery device for delivering and deploying the tissue clipping device. The delivery device is releasably coupled to the tissue clipping device.

Clipping device for large defects, perforations and fistulas

An apparatus for insertion into a body through a working channel of an endoscope includes a catheter including a dilator, a guide tube disposed in a lumen of the catheter, and a handle including a puncturing actuator operatively coupled to the proximal end of the guide tube. The dilator may be a cautery device and/or a balloon. The apparatus may also include a stylet needle that includes a cutting distal end for puncturing tissue and extends through a lumen in the guide tube. The handle may further include a stopper detachably coupled to the puncturing actuator to fix a position of the puncturing actuator on the handle, and moveable on the handle independently of the puncturing actuator when detached from the puncturing actuator. The disclosed embodiments also include a method for forming a passageway in a wall of a hollow body organ using the apparatus.

Apparatus and method for performing interventional endoscopic ultrasound procedure

A treatment device includes a flexible sheath; a control wire that can move axially within the flexible sheath; a first treatment member connected to a distal end of the control wire; a second treatment member connected to a distal end of the first treatment member; and a protection member that covers the second treatment member depending on the mode of operation. When the treatment device is in a first treatment mode, the second treatment member projects from a distal end of the protection member. When the treatment device is in a second treatment mode, the first treatment member projects from the distal end of the flexible sheath, and the protection member covers the second treatment member.

Diathermic endotherapeutic device

A treatment tool for an endoscope of the present invention includes a sheath, a balloon provided at the sheath and configured to be expandable to an inflated state from a reduced diameter state by injecting a fluid, a shaft member inserted through an inside of the balloon and configured to extend along a longitudinal axis of the sheath from a distal end of the balloon to a proximal end thereof, and an adhering portion provided on a side of an inner surface of a central portion of the balloon in a direction of the longitudinal axis, formed of an adhering material applied or adhered to the shaft member and configured to hold the central portion in a state in which the central portion is reduced in diameter.

Treatment tool for endoscope

An endoscopic medical tool is endoscopically inserted into a body cavity in order to eject a member into the body cavity, and includes: a flexible sheath having an inner cavity; an elastically deformable stopper which is provided projecting out toward the inner cavity in a distal end portion of the sheath, and prevents the member which has been loaded inside the sheath from falling out of the sheath; and a pusher which is inserted into the sheath in a freely advancing and retracting manner, and which pushes out and ejects the member from the sheath. In the endoscopic medical tool, the stopper is formed in only a partial region of the inner cavity so that the stopper does not continuously formed over the entire circumference of the inner cavity.
