A mounting structure for a vehicular lighting unit is provided with a restriction means to prevent the lighting unit from being dismantled from the outside of the vehicle without removing the cover member on the lighting unit.

Herein disclosed is an inexpensive light assembly which is easy to be produced and has aesthetic appearance. The assembly comprises a housing of thermoplastic resin having a convexly curved mouth, an electric bulb disposed in the housing, a lens of thermoplastic resin assuming a flat shape when no external stress is applied thereto, the lens being so constructed as to exhibit its desired optical performance when flexed by a given degree, and means for securing the lens to the mouth of the housing while flexing the same by the given degree.

An auxiliary air conditioning device is mounted to a rear parcel shelf above a trunk room of a motor vehicle for assisting a major air conditioning device. The auxiliary air conditioning device has therein an air cleaner and at least one of an electric heater and an electric humidifier.

Two loosely telescopically interconnected conduits are fastened together by a metal strip projecting from one conduit which passes through an aperture formed in the other and which is thereafter manually bent back. A foam block is disposed on the metal strip to seat against the inner wall of one of the conduits and seal the aperture through which the strip projects. A sealing ring is disposed about the mouth of conduit receiving the other to seal the gap therebetween. A second connector may be added to secure the conduits together against vibration, which second connector takes the form of first and second brackets, each attached to a conduit, and a screw receiving clip-on spring nut which clips on one of the brackets.
