To determine and detect 8-oxo-2'-deoxyguanosine in an aqueous sample solution with high sensitivity and specifically, provided is a polymer including a repetition structure represented by any one of the following general formulae 2 to 5, in which a group represented by any one of the following general formulae 6 to 11 is linked to the repetition structure represented by any one of the following general formulae 2 to 5 through a divalent linking group L. 

Polymer

Provided is a polymer that can detect a low-molecular weight compound, in particular, 8-OHdG with high sensitivity and can be repeatedly used. Specifically, provided is a polymer including repeating units each represented by the following formula (1). In the formula (1), Rand Rare each independent for each repeating unit, Rrepresents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group, and Rrepresents a group represented by the following formula (2) in at least one repeating unit, and represents a phenyl group, a hydroxyl group, an amino group, or a carboxyl group in any other repeating unit, and the group may be substituted with an alkyl group. In the formula (2), Rrepresents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, or an aryl group, L represents a divalent linking group, and * represents a site to be bonded to the carbon atom bonding to Rin formula (1). 

An ejection liquid capable of being stably ejected based on a system using thermal energy even if the liquid contains at least one selected from the group consisting of proteins and peptides, and a method and an apparatus for ejecting the liquid containing at least one selected from the group consisting of proteins and peptides using this system are provided. The applicability of the liquid for use in an inkjet system using thermal energy is improved by adding at least one selected from the group consisting of amino acids and salts thereof and a surfactant to an aqueous solution containing at least one selected from the group consisting of proteins and peptides.

Ejection liquid, ejection method, method for forming liquid droplets, liquid ejection cartridge and ejection apparatus

A liquid discharging device includes a device body configured to house a liquid discharging cartridge body having a liquid discharging portion for discharge liquid, and a device body cap removably attached to the device body. When the device body cap is detached from the device body, a discharging portion cap attached to the liquid discharging cartridge body so as to protect a discharging port of the liquid discharging portion is detached from the liquid discharging portion in combination with the device body cap.

The present invention provides a liquid composition, as an ejection liquid used for stably ejecting liquid droplets, including at least one kind of a protein and a peptide, and a compound having a betaine skeleton by application of thermal energy to the liquid; a method of making droplets form the liquid; and an ejection method and an ejection device suitable for utilizing protein liquid droplets. By adding a compound having a betaine skeleton to an aqueous solution of at least one kind of a protein and a peptide, the liquid composition is improved in stability for ejection by application of thermal energy. Further, a surfactant may be further added to the liquid composition containing the compound having a betaine skeleton, and in this case the effect of stable ejection can be obtained.

Ejection liquid, ejection method, method of making droplets from liquid, cartridge and ejection device

A user inhales medicine ejected from the medicine ejecting section of an inhaler into the air flow duct of an air flow duct forming member through a hole. As the air flow duct forming member is taken off from the inhaler body, the medicine ejecting section is covered by a cap for protection. As the air flow duct forming member is fitted to the inhaler body, the cap is opened and a sensor recognizes the open state of the cap so that the air flow duct forming member is prohibited from being fitted to and taken off from the inhaler body by a claw that is secured to the air flow duct forming member. In this way, the medicine ejecting section is prevented from being damaged when the air flow duct is fitted to and taken away from the inhaler.

Inhaler

An inhaler includes a medicine cartridge having at least an ejection head and a first electrical connection section for supplying the ejection head with electric power necessary for ejecting medicine, an inhaler body having a medicine cartridge mounting section and an inhalation piece. The inhaler is so constructed that an electric circuit for supplying the ejection head with electric power necessary for ejecting medicine by way of the first electrical connection section is made operable by mounting and rigidly securing the inhalation piece onto the inhaler body. The inhaler can be operated by a user with ease and the ejection head is reliably electrically energized only when the inhaler is operated.

A liquid medicine reservoir that supplies liquid medicine to a liquid-medicine discharging portion via a communicating portion includes a cylindrical body configured to hold the liquid medicine therein, a first sealing portion to which the communicating portion is connected, the first sealing portion sealing the cylindrical body, and a second sealing portion configured to seal an end of the cylindrical body opposite the first sealing portion. At least one of the first sealing portion and the second sealing portion move relative to each other in accordance with the amount of liquid medicine. A substance configured to inhibit discharging of the liquid medicine is stored in a space in the cylindrical body that is on an inner side of the second sealing portion and that is separate from the liquid medicine.

A cartridge having an ejection head for ejecting medicine and a reservoir as integral parts thereof is provided with an electric connection section on a lower surface of a junction forming section thereof to be brought into contact with an inhaler body. As the cartridge is put into the inhaler body and secured to the latter by means of a cartridge fixing member, the electric connection section of the cartridge is brought into contact with an electric connection section arranged on a top surface of a cartridge mounting section of the inhaler body to establish electric connection between the cartridge and the inhaler body.

An ejection liquid which can be ejected stably by an inkjet method using thermal energy even in the case of containing at least one of proteins and peptides, and a method and device of discharging a liquid containing at least one of proteins and peptides, which use the ejection liquid. At least one compound having a guanidine group is added to an aqueous solution of at least one of proteins and peptides to improve its qualifications to an ejection event by an inkjet method using thermal energy.

Ejection liquid, ejection device, ejection cartridge, and method of making droplets from liquid

There is provided an ejection liquid which can be ejected stably by an inkjet method even in the case of containing at least one of proteins and peptides and is provided a method and device of discharging a liquid containing at least one of proteins and peptides, which use the ejection liquid. The ejection liquid to be ejected from ejection orifice by an inkjet method contains at least one selected from proteins and peptides, a benzalkonium chloride and a liquid medium.

Ejection liquid and ejection method

An ejection liquid that allows a solution containing at least one kind of insulins to be stably ejected by an inkjet system using a thermal energy and a method of ejecting the solution containing at least one kind of insulins, using such an ejection liquid.
