A gas turbine power generation system is configured by a gas turbine, a main power generator which is coupled to a rotor of the gas turbine through a rotation shaft, a rotation rectifier which converts a three-phase AC current into a DC current and transfers the DC current to a field magnet winding wire of the main power generator, an AC exciter which is configured by an armature winding wire, a d-axis field magnet winding wire, and a q-axis field magnet winding wire, and transfers the three-phase AC current generated at the armature winding wire to the rotation rectifier, an excitation device which drives the AC exciter at the time of start-up of the main power generator, and an excitation power supply which supplies a current to the excitation device.

A prime mover control system is provided that can prevent magnification of power fluctuation, included in a feedback signal, that occurs between a generator and a power system, and that enables stable operation of the prime mover to continue, without disturbing the power system. In the case where a deviation detection device () that receives as input an output-power command value signal indicating a command value that is a target for the output power of a generator driven by a prime mover and an output-power signal indicating the present value of the output power, and that outputs a deviation signal indicating the deviation between the command value and the present value of the output power, and in the case where a control device () that receives as an input the deviation signal and outputs a control output signal for controlling the output of the prime mover, a filtering device () is provided that, in the output-power signal, the deviation signal, or the control output signal, attenuates or eliminates predetermined frequency components caused by periodic fluctuations, in the output power of a generator, that occur due to discrepancy between the output of the prime mover and the generator output power.

A reference voltage of an output terminal of a synchronous machine is set according to a reactive current output from the synchronous machine, a reference voltage of the high voltage side of a transformer, and a phase compensation transfer function to quicken attenuation of an electric power fluctuation.

Excitation control device and excitation control method

An excitation controller controls excitation of a synchronous machine, which is connected to a power transmission system through a transformer, so that a high-side voltage of the transformer is maintained at a target voltage with high accuracy. An output terminal target voltage of the synchronous machine is set to precisely compensate for a voltage drop in the transformer, corresponding to the transformer phase angle variation. To achieve this result, the excitation controller detects an output terminal voltage and an output current of the synchronous machine and calculates active and reactive currents of the output current, sets the output terminal target voltage of the synchronous machine from the active and reactive currents, the high-side voltage of the transformer, and the reactance of the transformer, and controls excitation of the synchronous machine to compensate for the voltage drop in the transformer corresponding to phase angle variation of the transformer.

A voltage stabilization control method for controlling a voltage of a power system that is connected to an adjustable speed machine includes detecting an active power change of the power system; outputting a control signal indicative of the amount of adjustment when the adjustment of the active power of the adjustable speed machine is required on the basis of the active power change; and receiving a steady operation command value with respect to the adjustable speed machine, generating a stabilization control signal resulting from adding the control signal to the steady operation command value and outputting the stabilization control signal to the adjustable speed machine. The present invention also resides in a voltage stabilization control apparatus.

An excitation controller for a synchronous machine includes a voltage detector for detecting an output terminal voltage of the synchronous machine connected to a transmission system through a transformer; a current detector for detecting a current outputted by the synchronous machine; a module type high side voltage control apparatus for operating arithmetically on a reactive current value on the basis of output from the voltage detector and the current detector, operating arithmetically on a high side voltage value from the reactive current value thus arithmetically operated on and a reactance of the transformer, and outputting a correction signal based on a deviation between the high side voltage value thus arithmetically operated on and a voltage setting value; an automatic voltage regulator, having a voltage setter, for outputting a command which is obtained by adding the correction signal to a voltage setting value provided by the voltage setter; and an exciter for carrying out field control of the synchronous machine on the basis of a command issued from the automatic voltage regulator.

Excitation controller for synchronous machine

An excitation apparatus for a generator includes an AC/AC inverter having a voltage holding function and connected to an output line of an AC generator. The apparatus includes an AC/DC converter, a capacitor connected to an output of the AC/DC converter, and a DC/AC converter connected to the capacitor and excites a field winding of the generator with an AC/DC converter controllable with a current and connected to the output of the AC/AC inverter. Even when a voltage of the output line is lowered due to a failure in a system, since energy stored in the capacitor is discharged and the voltage is maintained for the time being, the excitation current of the generator can be kept at a sufficiently high value.
