According to one embodiment, a multi-nucleic-acid amplification reaction tool includes a support and a plurality of types of primer sets. The support is configured to be able to support a reaction field of a liquid phase. A plurality of types of primer sets are fixed in a releasable state, for each type, on mutually independent fixing regions of at least a surface of the support, which is in contact with the reaction field, when the liquid phase forms the reaction field. A plurality of types of primer sets are configured to amplify the respectively corresponding target sequences.

Multi-nucleic-acid amplification reaction tool

A spacer assembly has first and second spacers that are set up integrally on first and second surfaces, respectively, of a substrate. Each spacer is tapered toward its extended end. In forming the spacer assembly, first and second molding dies having through holes coated with a parting agent that contains an organic component are prepared, and these molding dies are located on the first and second surfaces of the substrate so as to be intimately in contact with them, individually. Thereafter, a spacer forming material is filled into the through holes of the molding dies and cured, whereupon the first and second spacers are formed integrally on the substrate surfaces.

An envelope includes a first substrate having an image display surface, and a second substrate opposing the first substrate with a space therebetween. Electron sources for activating the image display surface are arranged on the second substrate at a predetermined pixel pitch in an X-direction and a Y-direction perpendicular to each other. Spacers are provided between the first and second substrates. The spacers are arranged at several times the pixel pitch in the X-direction, and arranged in the Y-direction at the same pitch as the pixel pitch at least in a part of the image display surface, those of the spacers arranged in the Y-direction being arranged in line with the electron sources and being located at both sides of each of the corresponding electron sources to make an electron emitted from each of the corresponding electron sources pass between each adjacent pair of those spacers.

A first substrate formed having a phosphor screen and a metal back layer and a second substrate provided with a plurality of electron emitting elements are located opposite each other. A spacer supporting substrate, which is covered by an insulating layer formed with a plurality of electron beam apertures, is provided between the first and second substrates. A spacer assembly has first and second spacers standing on first and second surfaces of a plate-like grid to be integral with them. First and second molds each with a plurality of through holes are arranged on the first and second surfaces of the grid to be in tight contact with them. After that, the through holes of the molds are filled with a glass paste containing an ultraviolet-curing binder, and the glass paste is cured by irradiation with ultraviolet rays. Furthermore, while the molds are held in a tight contact state, the glass paste is calcined at a predetermined temperature. Thus, the first and second spacers are integrally formed on the grid surfaces.

Exposure light sources are used to expose the to-be-exposed object through the photo masks that are located in the exposure position. A clean air supplier runs clean air from a first supply portion into regions between the to-be-exposed object and the photo masks to prevent penetration of foreign substances when the photo masks are moved to the separate position. When the photo masks are moved to the exposure position, the supplier feeds clean air from a second supply portion onto the respective outer surfaces of the photo masks, thereby cooling the photo masks.

An etching resistant liquid is fed onto the gravure roll being rotated in a direction opposite to that of the metallic thin plate and at a peripheral speed of 4 to 25 times as high as that of a feeding speed of the metallic thin plate, and an excessive portion of the etching resistant liquid is wiped away by the doctor blade before the etching resistant liquid is transferred to the metallic thin plate thereby to form an etching resistant layer on the metallic thin plate.

The present invention includes a method of manufacturing a substrate for a display device having the steps of forming a switching element on a substrate, forming a polysilane layer on the substrate, irradiating ultraviolet light to the polysilane layer, to form a latent image for a pattern, dipping the substrate into a dipping solution so that a material of the dipping solution soaks into the exposed portion, vitrificating the exposed portion by heating. According to the method, a pattern having different regions in characteristics (insulating, conductive, and coloring) can be formed easily by changing in composition of the dipping solution.
