A wireless terminal station device, a plurality of wireless base station devices, and a positioning request device are included, the wireless terminal station device makes a positioning request including identification information of its own device to the positioning request device via the wireless base station device to which the wireless terminal station device belongs among the plurality of wireless base station devices, the positioning request device receives the positioning request from the wireless terminal station device, specifies the wireless base station device to which the wireless terminal station device belongs on the basis of the identification information of the wireless terminal station device, transmits a positioning instruction and the identification information of the wireless terminal station device to the specified wireless base station device, and receives a result of positioning of the wireless terminal station device from the wireless base station device, and the wireless base station device performs positioning of the wireless terminal station device corresponding to the received identification information and transmits the result of the positioning to the positioning request device. Accordingly, it is possible to obtain agreement of an owner and perform positioning of a terminal device without installing hardware or an application for measuring a geographical position in the terminal device.

Provided is a position estimation method in which a measurement signal and a response signal are transmitted and received between multiple n wireless stations respectively provided with known antennas installed at known positions different from each other and a wireless terminal station provided with a terminal antenna, RTT, which is a round-trip delay time of the transmission and reception, and RSSI, which is a strength of received radio waves of the signals, are measured, and a position of the wireless terminal station is estimated. The method includes: obtaining, as the position of the wireless terminal station, a solution of simultaneous equations of an RTT evaluation function ffor evaluating the estimate value of the position of the wireless terminal station that is estimated based on the RTT measured between the wireless terminal station and the known antenna i (i=1, 2, . . . , n), and an RSSI evaluation function ffor evaluating the estimate value of the position of the wireless terminal station that is estimated based on the RSSI, or a value obtained by searching for an estimate value so that an error evaluation function fobtained by combining the RTT evaluation function and the RSSI evaluation function is minimum.

An object is to enable high-accuracy position estimation of a wireless terminal station by efficiently performing connection between a wireless base station and the wireless terminal station using multiple distributed antennas. A position estimation apparatus configured to estimate a position of a wireless terminal station between a wireless base station that can perform transmission and reception by switching between a plurality of distributed antennas arranged in a distributed manner via cables with known lengths, and the wireless terminal station configured to communicate with the wireless base station, includes: a means 1 for measuring a no-delay RTT or measuring a statistical processing RTT when the wireless base station exchanges a measurement signal and a response signal with the wireless terminal station in each of the distributed antennas and measures an RTT, which is a round trip time between the wireless base station and the wireless terminal station, a delay time having been removed from the no-delay RTT using a reception time of the measurement signal and a transmission time of the response signal, and the statistical processing RTT being measured using statistical processing for making the delay time constant using a plurality of instances of exchanging a measurement signal and a response signal; and means 2 for estimating the position of the wireless terminal station based on the no-delay RTT or the statistical processing RTT of each of the distributed antennas.

A water-based ink composition for a ballpoint pen containing at least colored resin particles which have an average particle diameter of 2 to 20 &#x3bc;m and which are non-thermoplastic in a proportion of 5 to 30% by weight based on the total amount of the ink composition and non-colored particles having a glass transition point of lower than 0&#xb0; C. The average particle diameter of the non-colored particles is controlled preferably to 0.01 to 10 &#x3bc;m. The composition preferably includes at least one selected from ethylene oxide or propylene oxide adducts of glycerin and ethylene oxide or propylene oxide adducts of diglycerin in a proportion of 1 to 30% by weight based on the total amount of the ink composition.

An ink follower which has stable followability regardless of a pen body specification, a flow rate for writing and a writing speed and does not cause back leaking of the ink originating in shortage in the ink follower in the middle of writing and scattering of the ink follower by impact applied to the pen body and which does not flow out from the ink reservoir in storing the pen body at a high temperature and provides a stable flow rate for writing. An ink follower is also provided which prevents the ink from volatilizing by shutting off the ink from the outside air (volatilization preventing property) and which prevents the ink from leaking in writing with the pen turned upward. The ink follower, for example, contains a non-volatile or slightly volatile organic solvent and a non-styrene base thermoplastic elastomer which is soluble or swollen in the organic solvent and showing viscoelasticity which is predominant in elastic response.

An ink follower for a ballpoint pen using a water-based ink in which a value of the test for oil separation (60&#xb0; C., 24 hours) according to JIS K 2220-5.7-1993 is 0.5 to 12% and which has a viscoelasticity predominant in an elastic response or a value of tan &#x3b4; of 0.1 to 1.5 at a temperature of 25&#xb0; C. and in the full frequency range of an angular frequency of 0.1 to 630 rad/sec, and it contains as a base oil, a non-water-soluble organic solvent having a viscosity of 5 Pas&#xb7;sec or less at a temperature of 25&#xb0; C. and a shearing speed of 1 to 400 sec. Polybutene, mineral oil and silicone oil can be used as the base oil.
