Provided is a reciprocating compressor having a structure in which friction losses between a shaft and a bearing can be reduced without impairing the ability of the bearing to support the shaft. A reciprocating compressor () includes a cylinder (), a piston (), a connecting rod (), a shaft (), and a bearing (). The shaft () has a journal portion () as a portion covered by the bearing (). The journal portion () has a first journal portion () located closer to the connecting rod () with respect to a midpoint M of the journal portion () in a direction parallel to a rotational axis and a second journal portion () located farther from the connecting rod () with respect to the midpoint M. The bearing () has a first sliding portion () for supporting the first journal portion () and a second sliding portion () for supporting the second journal portion (). The first sliding portion () has a first recessed portion () in at least one range selected from a range of 0&#xb0; to 180&#xb0; and a range of 270&#xb0; to 360&#xb0; in a rotational direction of the shaft () from a reference position.

Reciprocating compressor

An expander-integrated compressor () includes: a compression mechanism () for compressing a working fluid; an expansion mechanism () for expanding a working fluid; and a shaft () that couples the compression mechanism () and the expansion mechanism (). The expansion mechanism () includes a variable vane mechanism (). A rotary-type fluid machine (A) includes: a closed casing () having a bottom portion utilized as an oil reservoir, a rotary-type fluid mechanism (expansion mechanism) () that is provided in an upper portion of the closed casing () and in which working chambers () in cylinders () are partitioned into a suction side working chamber and a discharge side working chamber by vanes (), a shaft () having therein an oil supply passage () for supplying oil to the fluid mechanism (), the shaft being connected to the fluid mechanism () and extending an oil reservoir (), an oil pump () provided at a lower portion of the shaft (), an oil retaining portion () for retaining oil, which is pumped up by the oil pump () and supplied through the oil supply passage (), in a surrounding region around the fluid mechanism () to allow the partitioning members of the fluid mechanism () to be lubricated, the oil retaining portion formed so that the liquid level of the oil retained therein is positioned higher the lower face of the partitioning members ().

An expander-compressor unit () includes: a closed casing () holding an oil at a bottom portion thereof; a motor () provided in the closed casing (); a compression mechanism () for compressing a refrigerant and discharging it into the closed casing (), the compression mechanism () being disposed below the motor () in the closed casing (); an expansion mechanism () disposed below the compression mechanism () in the closed casing (); and a coupling mechanism () for coupling a compression mechanism side shaft () to an expansion mechanism side shaft (). A fluid machine () includes a closed casing () in which an oil reservoir () for holding oil is formed in a bottom part. Disposed in the closed casing () are: a main compression mechanism (), for compressing a working fluid, to which the oil held the oil reservoir () is supplied; a rotary electric motor () disposed above the oil reservoir () in the closed casing (); a main compressor shaft () for coupling the main compression mechanism () and the rotary electric motor () to each other; a power recovery mechanism () for recovering motive power from the working fluid by performing a suction process for drawing the working fluid and a discharge process for discharging the drawn working fluid; a sub compression mechanism (), which is driven by the power recovery mechanism (), for compressing the working fluid and discharging the working fluid to the main compression mechanism () side; and a power recovery shaft () for coupling the power recovery mechanism () and the sub compression mechanism () to each other.

Refrigeration cycle apparatus and fluid machine used therefor

An integrally formed vane () is disposed slidably in a vane groove () of a first cylinder () and a vane groove () of a second cylinder (). A cut-out () with a width substantially equal to the thickness of an intermediate plate () is provided in the vane (), which is divided by this cut-out () into a first vane portion () whose leading end makes contact with a first piston () at its leading end and a second vane portion () whose leading end makes contact with a second piston (). This configuration allows the first vane portion () to be pushed toward the first piston () side by the pressure difference acting on the second vane portion () and makes it possible to keep a contact state between the first vane portion () and the first piston (), even when no pushing force toward the first piston () side that results from the pressure difference acts on the first vane portion ().

A boss portion () is provided at a lower end of the rotating shaft (). A shaft portion () that is engaged in the boss portion () is provided at an upper end of the rotating shaft (). The circumference of a coupling part (), which includes the boss portion () and the shaft portion () is covered by an upper bearing () of the expansion mechanism (). The upper bearing () supports both the rotating shaft () and the rotating shaft ().

Shaft coupling and arrangement for fluid machine and refrigeration cycle apparatus

An expander-integrated compressor (A) has a compression mechanism () for compressing a refrigerant and an expansion mechanism () for expanding the refrigerant. The compression mechanism () is located above the expansion mechanism () inside a closed casing () and shares a rotating shaft () with the expansion mechanism (). An oil pump () is provided at the lower end of the rotating shaft (). The oil pump () is immersed in oil in an oil reservoir (). Usually, the oil is placed in the oil reservoir () in such a manner that the oil level (OL) is located above a lower end portion () of a vane () of a first expansion section (). More preferably, the oil is placed in such a manner that the expansion mechanism () is immersed in the oil. An oil supply passage () for guiding the oil to the compression mechanism () is formed inside the rotating shaft (). A suction port () of the oil pump () is provided below the lower end portion () of the vane ().

Expander-integrated compressor and refrigeration-cycle apparatus with the same

A fluid machine () includes: a compression mechanism () for compressing a working fluid; an expansion mechanism () for expanding the working fluid and for recovering mechanical power from the expanding working fluid; a shaft () for coupling the compression mechanism () and the expansion mechanism () and for transferring the mechanical power recovered by the expansion mechanism () to the compression mechanism (); and a closed casing () for accommodating the compression mechanism (), the shaft () and the expansion mechanism (), and having an internal space into which the working fluid that has been compressed by the compression mechanism () is discharged. A refrigerant passage space () through which a refrigerant to be drawn into the expansion mechanism () passes is formed between an expansion chamber of the expansion mechanism () and the internal space of the closed casing ().

A refrigeration cycle apparatusincludes a refrigerant circuit in which a refrigerant circulates. The refrigerant circuit is formed by connecting in sequence a compressorfor compressing the refrigerant, a radiatorfor allowing the refrigerant compressed by compressorto radiate heat, a fluid pressure motoras a power recovery means, and an evaporatorfor allowing the refrigerant discharged by the fluid pressure motorto evaporate. The fluid pressure motorperforms a process for drawing the refrigerant and a process for discharging the refrigerant. These processes are performed substantially continuously.

Refrigeration cycle apparatus and fluid machine used for the same

A multi-stage rotary-type fluid machine may be configured as what is called a two-stage rotary expander, in which a refrigerant expands in an expansion chamber having a first discharge side space () of a first cylinder (), a second suction side space () of a second cylinder (), and a communication hole () for allowing communication between the two spaces (). The first cylinder () and the second cylinder () are partitioned by an intermediate plate (). The communication hole () is formed so as to penetrate through the intermediate plate (). The opening shape and location of the communication hole () are set so that direct blow-through of the refrigerant from a suction port () to a discharge port () cannot occur at any rotation angle of a shaft ().

Multi-stage rotary-type fluid machine and refrigeration cycle apparatus

In the case where a user changes a set state of apparatuses, an apparatus operation control portion repressively controls the apparatuses, in spite of an instruction of a control signal according to that change, so that an increasing amount of power consumption of the apparatuses obtained from an apparatus power consumption measuring portion will not exceed an increasing amount of the generating capacity of a generator obtained from a generating capacity measuring portion so as to gradually bring it closer to a target set state set up by the user.
