A device for guiding a puncture needle used in CT (computerized tomography) comprises a guide section having an insertion hole for an introducer and the puncture needle, a pole brace having a leg and standing erect in parallel to the guide section, and a beam for connecting the guide section with the pole brace wherein the pole brace or the leg has a function for changing its length along the axial direction thereof, the beam for connecting both the guide section and the pole brace with each other is prepared from a moldable plastic material which allows X-rays to pass through the same in case of radiation into an integrally molded article. The guide section is provided with an openable holding section or a detachable holding section being in parallel to the insertion hole in order that the guiding device can be removed from the introducer and the puncture needle which have been inserted in the insertion hole 12, and further the guide section is provided with a metallic thin sheet which indicates a position of such metallic thin sheet in an image when radiation is made, thereby to-provide the device for guiding a puncture needle which has a simple structure and small number of parts, in which a space sufficient for performing manipulation of a puncturing operation with a needle can be assured, which is easily attached to a subject or a patient by an examiner or an operator, by which an exact puncturing operation can be made with respect to a target site, and further which can be removed from a subject's body surface with leaving the puncture needle as it is after having punctured a target site with the needle.

Device for guiding puncture needle

The set of biopsy needles of the invention is provided with a shaft member for an inner needle 6 which has an inner needle base 22 at the front end to fix an inner needle 24, a shaft member for an outer needle 13 which has an outer needle base 21 at the front end to fix an outer needle 23, a gripping member 1 for operation which fixes the shaft member for the inner needle 6 and axially movably support the shaft for the outer needle 13, a actuating member 9 which gives protrusion force to the shaft member for the outer needle 13, a holding member 15 which holds the shaft member for the outer needle 13 at the position before protrusion against the protrusion force of the actuating member 9 and releases from holding the shaft member for the outer needle 13 before protrusion by outside operation, and a rotation generating member 10 which gives rotation force to the shaft member for the outer needle 13 when the shaft member for the outer needle 13 moves axially.

Biopsy needles

An apparatus for cystographic inspection used for observing and measuring the urethrophaxis portion and posterourethovesical angle of a patient of the acraturesis caused by a ventral pressure, comprises a catheter, in the housing of which a flexible urethral locus indicating member, provided with a marking member, is positioned. The flexed condition of the urethral and the posterourethrovesical angle can be clearly confirmed by the urethral locus indicating member, and the position of an exterior urethral opening member, and position of an exterior urethral opening can be surely grasped by the marking member which can be roentgenographed and which is positioned on the urethral locus indicating member and that it is prevented from penetrating into the uretra and this assists in examining of the external urethral opening during roentgenography of the urethral locus indicating member of the catheter.

Apparatus for cystographic inspection

A set of double needles for injecting liquid medicine into a patient through a single injection point contains an inner curved needle slidably and rotatably supported within a shorter outer needle. The distal end of the inner needle can protrude from the outer needle to extend sideways, in a controlled direction and extent. The direction in which the inner needle point is inserted into the patient is determined by controllably rotating and engaging a base of the inner needle with respect to a base of the outer needle, with structure provided to prevent unintentional relative rotation of the needles. Liquid medicine may thus be infused into the body of a patient at a number of locations at a preselected depth into the body and within a zone laterally extending from the distal end of the outer needle. The inner needle, which may have a lateral hole at its end, is withdrawable within the outer needle and straightens within the latter during the course of such a withdrawal. A flexible adaptor is provided between the needles and a supply of liquid medicine.

Set of double needles for injecting liquid medicine

A set of double needles of injecting liquid medicine comprises an inner needle and an outer needle into which the inner needle is inserted. The inner needle is longer than the outer needle and has a curved portion at the top thereof, so that the curved portion of the inner needle protrudes from the outer needle when the inner needle is fully inserted into the outer needle. On the other hand, the curved portion of the inner needle is straightened in the outer needle when the inner needle is retracted in the outer needle so that the inner needle can be rotated therein whereby the injecting point can be varied in a predetermined area in a single puncturing of the needles.

In application of a biopsy needle set which is utilized for collecting diseased tissue sections from internal organs in a human body without requiring surgical operation, it is desirable to be certainly taken out the tissue sections by single puncture and to decrease injury of such diseased part in addition, to reduce pain in the patient at the time of sticking into the human body with the needle. In an end of suction type biopsy needle set containing double needle set of an outer needle and an inner needle, the outer needle is narrowed to form a closely contacting portion with the inner needle, whereby negative pressure can be accumulated in a cylinder at the early stage of such suction, while thus accumulated negative pressure is transferred to an opening of the outer needle at the moment when the withdrawn inner needle is passed through the above described closely contacting portion, so that such suction force sufficient for collecting the tissue sections is produced. In this case, valve function of the needle tip construction in the above biopsy needle set can realize reliability of collecting the tissue sections. Furthermore suction can be in one-handed operation by such construction that a plunger is provided with a knob projecting through the notched split formed on the cylinder.
