According to one embodiment, a rotor includes, for each magnetic pole of a rotor iron core, first and second outer circumferential side bridge portions, and first and second inner circumferential side bridge portions. The first and second outer circumferential side bridge portions are provided such that a mutual interval is decreased from an outer circumferential side of the rotor iron core to an inner circumferential side. The first and second inner circumferential side bridge portions are provided such that a mutual interval is decreased from the outer circumferential side of the rotor iron core to the inner circumferential side, and are connected to the first and second outer circumferential side bridge portions, respectively.

Rotor and rotating electrical machine

According to an embodiment, an embedded magnet rotor comprises: a rotor shaft, a rotor core having permanent magnet housing spaces; and flat plate-shaped permanent magnets. Permanent magnet housing spaces each extend more radially outward than a position where the permanent magnet is held by a magnet holding outer projection and each have a communication opening communicating with a gap space. A radial thickness of each of the two chips sandwiching the communication opening and a circumferential width of the communication opening are in such a dimensional relation as to prevent a fragment produced by break of the permanent magnet from protruding from the communication opening and coming into contact with the stator.

Embedded magnet rotor and rotary electric machine

According to one embodiment, a rotor of a rotary electric machine is provided with a rotor iron core and a plurality of permanent magnets. The rotor iron core includes a plurality of magnetic poles, a plurality of magnet holding slots, an outer peripheral side iron core portion, an inner peripheral side iron core portion, a plurality of bridges passed between the outer peripheral side iron core portion and the inner peripheral side iron core portion, and a plurality of magnet holding protrusions extending from the middle of each of the bridges to each of the magnet holding slots for each of the magnetic poles. Each of the permanent magnets is accommodated in each of the magnet holding slots and is in contact with each of the magnet holding protrusions.

According to one embodiment, a stator includes a stator core and a stator coil. The stator core includes an annular yoke, and a plurality of teeth each extending from an inner periphery of the yoke in a radial direction and arranged in a circumferential direction of the yoke at intervals, in which a gap between a pair of teeth adjacent to each other in the circumferential direction forms a slot extending in the radial direction. With respect to the pair of teeth and the slot, only one of the teeth includes a convex holder-shaped part which projects in the slot toward the other tooth and extends in an axial direction. The stator coil includes a plurality of linear conductors aligned in the radial direction in the slot and held in the slot by the holder-shaped part.

According to one embodiment, a stator includes a stator core and coils having a rectangular cross-section. In one or more slots, a first rectangular conductor, which is positioned innermost in a radial direction and in which a pair of short sides in a cross section face in the radial direction, and a second rectangular conductor, which is positioned outer side of the radial direction than is the first rectangular conductor and in which a pair of long sides in the cross-section face in the radial direction, are disposed. The first rectangular conductor includes a bending part bent toward a circumferential direction. The second rectangular conductor includes a bending part bent toward the circumferential direction and a twisted part twisted about the circumferential direction.

According to one embodiment, a rotor includes a rotor core including magnetic poles arranged in a circumferential direction, a cavity formed on an axis q and extending toward a central axis, and a flux barrier band formed in the magnetic pole between a pair of the cavities to cross an axis d and including a first bridge part facing one cavity, a second bridge part facing the other cavity, and a magnet embedding hole formed between the first and the second bridge parts, a first permanent magnet formed of a fixed magnetic force magnet and disposed in the magnet embedding hole to be adjacent to the first bridge part, and a second permanent magnet formed of a variable magnetic force magnet and disposed in the magnet embedding hole to be adjacent to the second bridge part.

According to one embodiment, an inverter controller includes a current controller which calculates and output PWM modulation ratio instructions of a first phase and a second phase, such that an inverter outputs a predetermined current; a switching timing arithmetic unit which calculates timings at which switches of the respective phases are opened and closed; a simultaneous switching avoiding unit which determines whether a first switching timing for changing over the switch of the first phase and a second switching timing for changing over the switch of the second phase coincide or not, and to generate, upon determining that the first switching timing and the second switching timing coincide, triangular-wave carriers of the first phase and the second phase by making different waveforms of the triangular-wave carriers; and a switch opening/closing timing generator which calculates a timing for opening/closing the switch.

According to one embodiment, a magnet flux amount estimation device includes a magnetic pole position detector configured to detect a magnetic pole position of a permanent magnet synchronous motor including a permanent magnet within a rotor; an inductance-equivalent value determination module configured to determine an inductance-equivalent value of a d-axis corresponding to a determined magnetic pole direction; and a magnet flux amount estimator configured to calculate an estimation value of a magnet flux amount of the permanent magnet, based on the inductance-equivalent value.
