A heating and cooling stimulation device includes a stimulation supply unit configured to supply hot stimulation and cold stimulation to a subject; an estimation unit configured to estimate a fatigue level of the subject; and a control unit configured to control an operation of the stimulation supply unit so as to supply the hot stimulation and the cold stimulation alternately to the subject in accordance with the fatigue level estimated by the estimation unit. The control unit controls the operation of the stimulation supply unit such that an amount of the cold stimulation received by the subject increases as the fatigue level estimated by the estimation unit becomes higher.

A vehicular display apparatus displays, as an unreal image at an on-road position in front of a vehicle, a bar-shaped image that indicates a distance from the on-road position to a spot for right/left turn in a guidance route. The unreal image is generated by using a liquid crystal panel via a windshield and seen by a driver by designating a display position of the bar-shaped image on the liquid crystal panel based on a distance from the vehicle to the spot and the distance from the on-road position to the spot. A display device of the present invention is mounted on an automotive vehicle. An obstacle located in front of the vehicle is detected by a camera, and its features including speed, distance, size, etc. are analyzed by electronic circuits. An image showing the features of the front object is outputted from a liquid crystal panel. The outputted image is reflected on the windshield, displaying a virtual image to a driver. The virtual image is displayed in a form of a spot encircling the front obstacle seen through the windshield. The ways of displaying the encircling spot are variously changed according to a degree of collision danger that is determined according to a period in which the vehicle reaches the obstacle. For example, if the degree of collision danger is high, the spot is shown in red-orange color and/or with a high brightness. Thus, the driver easily recognizes the front obstacle in a high degree of collision danger.

A vehicle information display system includes a head-up display for reflecting an image on a windshield of a vehicle and displaying the image so that a driver recognizes the image as a virtual image. Information is collected for being displayed by the head-up display. A circumstance of the vehicle, a circumstance of surrounding of the vehicle, or a circumstance of the driver is detected. The collected information is classified in accordance with a detection result. Then, display contents of the head-up display are controlled in accordance with a classification result.

In a head-up display device, when a preceding vehicle exists between a pre-movement information conveyor and a vehicle, the pre-movement information conveyor is moved to another position at which the pre-movement information conveyor is displayed as a recognizable post-movement information conveyor. Thus, the pre-movement information conveyor is removed from a state in which the pre-movement information conveyor is hidden behind the preceding vehicle, hence, becoming invisible. As a result, the incompatibility sense felt by the driver of the vehicle can be reduced and the information conveyor will be less overlooked.
