An apparatus includes a control device for a first suction portion, a second suction portion, and a folding portion so that each time a separator is folded, a positive electrode and a negative electrode are alternately sandwiched between folded surfaces of the separator. The control device controls the at least one of the first suction portion and the second suction portion so that doping foil is bonded to one of a current collector, the positive electrode, and the negative electrode sucked and held by the at least one of the first suction portion and the second suction portion. The control device controls the at least one of the first suction portion and the second suction portion so that the one of the current collector, the positive electrode, and the negative electrode having the lithium metal foil bonded thereto is transported and sandwiched between a predetermined pair of the folded surfaces of the separator.

A kneading device includes: a preliminary kneading device that produces a preslurry by agitating a powder and a liquid introduced and transferring them while wetting the powder with the liquid; and a main kneading device that causes the powder to be uniformly dispersed in the preslurry supplied from the preliminary kneading device to produce a slurry. The main kneading device includes a gap defined by two conical surfaces that face each other with a predetermined distance therebetween and rotate relative to each other about their central axes. The conditions of main kneading can be changed only by adjusting the gap, which facilitates the operation of changing the conditions of the main kneading.

A device is provided for assembling a tapered roller bearing, which allows even a tapered roller having a large taper angle to be easily assembled to a pocket of a cage. The tapered roller () is inserted into the pocket () with the larger-diameter side of the tapered roller () in the lead from the inner side of the cage () and moreover from the smaller-diameter annular portion side of the cage (), by which the tapered rollers () are assembled to the cage ().

The link platesare sequentially stacked in layers by press-fitting respective through-holesof the link platesabout the respective pin pairs, whereby the link platesare interconnected to form a circular chain (an endless loop). Subsequently, the individual pin pairsare released from the temporarily fixed state. Thus, the manufacture of the power transmission chainis decreased in the number of operation steps, so that the chain may be assembled easily.
