A damper device applies damping force to a movable body assembled on a fixed body. The damper device includes a damping part, a clutch case attached to one of the fixed body and the movable body in a state having received the damping part, and a rack part moving or relatively moving accompanying movement of the movable body. The damper device effectively operate the movable body.

A rotary damper includes a cylindrical rotor for receiving a torque input, a housing having a shaft disposed within the cylindrical rotor and a cylindrical wall surrounding the shaft, a viscous fluid interposed between the cylindrical rotor and the housing shaft, a coil spring provided between the inner periphery of the cylindrical wall and the outer periphery of the cylindrical rotor and having one end secured to the housing and the other end secured to the cylindrical rotor, a cover secured to an open end of the cylindrical wall and having an inner surface facing the end surface of the cylindrical rotor, an excursion groove formed within the inner surface of the cover or within an end surface of the cylindrical rotor and having an end portion defined as a heart-like cam groove, and an operating pin provided upon the cover or upon the cylindrical rotor and capable of excursion along the excursion groove. The coil spring is wound as a result of rotation caused by means of the torque input received by means of the cylindrical rotor.

Rotary damper

A plastic screw grommet is disclosed, which has a body formed with a threaded hole and also formed in a lower end portion with a diagonal slit. A side of at least one of divisions defined by the slit is formed with a flexible hook portion adjacent to an edge of the slit and outwardly inclined toward the flange.

A high frequency welding method comprises providing two plastic workpieces to be welded together with respective ribs which face each other, extend to the same height and have their surfaces opposite their facing surfaces inclined such that their thicknesses decrease toward their tops, and applying high frequency vibration to the ribs by positioning a high frequency welder horn such that the bottom of an annular groove of the horn having an arcuate sectional profile is pressed against the tops of the ribs.

A rotary damper comprises a cylindrical case closed at the bottom and having a housing containing a viscous liquid, a lid mounted in the case to close the housing and having a central circular hole, and a rotor having a shaft passing through the hole of the lid, a driven gear secured to its distal end and a brake plate rotatably disposed in the viscous liquid in the housing. The central circular hole has an increased diameter portion provided adjacent to the housing, and an O-ring is fitted on the shaft of the rotor and received in the increased diameter portion such that it is radially compressed by the peripheral wall of the increased diameter portion.

A rotary damper comprises a driven gear having a cylindrical projection projecting from its rear surface and a case with a bottom and having a cylindrical groove, the cylindrical projection being received in the cylindrical groove, grease filling a gap defined between the cylindrical projection and the cylindrical groove, an outer wall of the case defining the cylindrical groove being formed on its inner periphery and adjacent to its distal end with an annular depression having a greater outer diameter than the diameter of the inner periphery, and the grease being partly forced out into the annular depression.

Viscous rotary damper

A latch device comprises a casing secured to a body with a door hinged thereto and a slide to be pushed, when the door is closed, by a strike projecting from the back side of the door into the casing so that the door is held closed with the strike retained in the slide. The slide has a heart-shaped cam groove formed in the top surface. A latch pin is provided with its one end received in the cam groove and its other end rotatably fitted in the casing. The one end of the latch pin is adapted to trace the cam groove with the movement of the slide, and is urged against the bottom of the cam groove by a retainer spring.

Disclosed is a binder for binding a bundle of elongated bodies comprising a closed loop and a pair of converging-and-diverging arms integrally connected to the opposite middle portions of the loop and rising therefrom. In use a bundle of elongated bodies are pushed in between the opposite arms, and then the bundle is bound by intertwisting the arms around the bundle. A binder according to this invention assures a tight binding irrespective of the size of the bundle.
