A level adjustment device includes a pad which attenuates a signal by a predetermined level, an amplifier which is provided at the back of the pad to adjust the level of the signal with a variable amplification rate or attenuation rate, and a level adjustment unit which, when the pad is off, uses only the amplifier and, when the pad is on, uses the amplifier and the pad to adjust the level of the acoustic signal. The setting of a level adjustment value by the level adjustment unit is received, when the level adjustment value reaches a predetermined switching point Tsw, the on/off of the pad is switched, and when an instruction is issued to start a performance mode, the value of the switching point Tsw is changed so as to be away from the level adjustment value at the point of time of the instruction.

Level adjustment device

Control data is generated in response to generation, from a position detector, of position data in accordance with a predetermined scale characteristic. Change scale characteristic is applied in manual operation performed immediately after an operation member has been automatically positioned to a target position. In the change scale characteristic, a start point is established such that control data, corresponding to the target position, of the predetermined scale characteristic is outputted in correspondence with the position data outputted at the time of completion of the positioning, but also a first change portion, including a portion extending from a position of the start point at least up to the target position, is established, so that the control data outputted in correspondence with the position data output gradually varies from data corresponding to the start point to data of the predetermined scale characteristic corresponding to an end point of the first change portion.

Control data generation device and method

A controller remote-controlling a digital mixer which performs signal processing to an input signal by a DSP to output the processed signal is provided with functions of: accepting the setting of level of a dummy signal; calculating a gain of the signal processing at each stage in the DSP based on a value of a parameter used for the remote controlling; calculating level that the dummy signal would have at a reference point selected by a reference point selection button if the dummy signal is assumed to be inputted to the DSP, based on the level of the dummy signal and the calculated gain; and displaying the calculated level in a level display portion.

Controller

Once a human operator operates a fader knob of a desired channel downwardly toward a predetermined position, resistance force against the fader knob is generated. As the human operator further lowers the fader knob beyond another predetermined position against the resistance force, the channel is set in a CUE-ON state, so that an audio signal (pre-fader signal) of the channel can be test-listened to as a CUE signal. Then, once the human operator operates the fader knob upwardly, the CUE-ON state of the signal is canceled, so that a sound volume level of the channel can be controlled in accordance with an operating position of the fader knob.

Digital audio mixer

Digital mixer includes a plurality of input ports each capable of performing gain adjustment, and a plurality of signal processing channels. Signal of each of the input ports is allocated to one or more desired ones of the channels. Each of the input channels includes an attenuator and can control the level of each signal supplied thereto. Gain value of any one of the input ports is updated in accordance with the gain adjustment performed in that input port, and, when an automatic gain adjustment function is ON in any one of the input channels set as patched-to destinations of the input port, an attenuator value of the input channel is automatically adjusted so as to cancel out an amount of variation of the gain value.

An audio mixing console includes a brightness adjusting mode selection button and an adjustment subject specification button. A user operates the brightness adjusting mode selection button to set up a brightness adjusting mode, and operates the adjustment subject specification button to specify any color LED of RGB or all colors as an adjustment subject. When an LED button is operated, brightness of an LED of a color of an adjustment subject in a multicolor LED unit incorporated in the LED button is increased one step by one step. In another example, in response to an operation of a button, brightness of an LED of a color of the adjustment subject in the multicolor LED unit incorporated in a plurality of LED buttons other than this button is increased one step by one step. This work is carried out for every LED and LED button.

Audio mixing console capable of adjusting brightness of LED operator, and method of operating the same

In a digital mixer, a standard mode or a switched mode of an input patch is selectable. When shifting from the standard mode to the switched mode is selected, input port information in input patch data stored in a current memory is converted according to a port correspondence relation indicated by conversion data. When shifting from the switched mode to the standard mode is selected, the input port information in the input patch data stored in the current memory is reversely converted to original information according to the port correspondence relation indicated by the conversion data.
