A laminated barrier film which is harmless to the environment and combines the property of being easily tearable with moderate barrier properties. The laminated film comprises: an easily tearable barrier film ( ) which is made up of a first layer ( ) to a third layer ( ), has undergone stretching in a stretch ratio of 2.8 or higher in each of the machine and transverse directions, and has undergone thermal fixing by heat treatment at 120 to 195&deg; C. so that it has a shrinkage of 15 to 40% through 20-minutes immersion in pressurized 120&deg; C. water; and a sealant film ( ) laminated to the film ( ). The first layer ( ) and the third layer ( ) each contains 60 to 85 parts by weight of Ny6, 15 to 40 parts by weight of MXD6, and 0.1 to 10 parts by weight of a modifier, while the second layer ( ) contains 0 to 40 parts by weight of a thermoplastic resin such as Ny6, 60 to 95 parts by weight of MXD6, and 0.1 to 10 parts by weight of a modifier.

Easily tearable laminated barrier film and bag product using the same

Disclosed are an easy-cleavage shrink laminate film which is harmless to the environment, easy to tear and moderately shrinkable, and a bag made of the laminate film. The easy-cleavage shrink laminate film,has a basic, two-layered structure composed of an easy-cleavage shrink film,and a sealant film,and may optionally comprise an additional sealant film,and/or a substrate film,to have a multi-layered structure. The easy-cleavage shrink film,comprises from 40 to 85 parts by weight of Ny 6 and from 15 to 60 parts by weight of MXD 6, and this is drawn at an orientation ratio of not smaller than 2.8 times both in the MD direction and in the TD direction and thermally fixed at a heat-treating temperature falling between 120 and 195&deg; C. to thereby have a degree of shrinkage of from 15 to 40% when it is put in hot water at 120&deg; C. under pressure of about 2.0 kg/cm,for 20 minutes.

Easy-cleavage shrink laminate film and the bag using the same

Each base for fusing a snap-zipper male member and a snap-zipper female member, which form a snap zipper, onto a bag body is formed from a mixture of polypropylene and an ethylene copolymer obtained by copolymerizing ethylene and an .alpha.-olefin having a carbon atom ratio of 3 to 20, in which the ethylene copolymer has a weight average molecular weight/number average molecular weight of less than 3, density in the range from 0.850 g/cm.sup.3 to 0.935 g/cm.sup.3, melt index in the range from 0.3 g/10 min. to 15 g/10 min., and range of number of branching dependent on molecular weight of 0-5 branches/1,000 carbon. A bag with the snap zipper is structured to fuse the snap zipper through the bases onto the bag body.

An oriented splittable film which contains nylon and meta-xylylene adipamide at a weight ratio of 40-85:15-60 and which was oriented with a magnification above 2.8 times in both directions of MD and TD. Examples of nylon include nylon 66, nylon 6-66 copolymer and so on. Under this manufacturing method for an oriented splittable film, when a raw film is heated in a biaxially orienting process, such as the tubular method, the heating temperature at the side part of the film, in the direction of film width,,when folding the bubbles, is controlled along the circumference direction of the bubbles so that it is lower than the heating temperature of the part of the film which is used later as a product. The heat treatment process for these films includes a first heat treatment step implemented for films at temperatures between 120 degrees C and 190 degrees C based on the tubular method or tenter method and a second heat treatment step implemented for films at temperatures between 190 degrees C and 220 degrees C based on the tenter method.

Oriented film easy to split and method of producing the same

An easy-cleavage film comprising a first layer, a second layer and a third layer which contain Nylon 6 (Ny 6), meta-xylylene adipamide (MXD 6) and polyamide elastomer (PAE), in which the film is defined by (1) the content of the components of each layer, (2) the layer ratio of each layer and (3) the orientation ratio, more specifically, (1) the first layer and the third layer having 60 to 85% by weight of Ny 6 content, 15 to 40% by weight of MXD 6 content and 0.1 to 10.0% by weight of PAE content, the second layer having 0 to 40% by weight of Ny 6 content, 60 to 100% by weight of MXD 6 content and 0.1 to 10.0% by weight of PAE content (each layer having Ny 6+MXD 6+PAE=100% by weight, further, the MXD 6 content in the second layer being larger than the MXD 6 content in the first layer and the third layer), (2) the layer ratio of the first layer through the third layer being defined as 1:8:1-4:2:4, the layer ratio between the first layer (or the third layer) and the second layer being defined as 1:8-2:1, and the layer ratio between the first layer and the third layer being defined as 1:2-2:1, and (3) an orientation ratio of more than 2.8 times in both the direction of the movement of the film (MD direction) and the direction of the width of the film (TD direction).

Easy-cleavage film and a method of producing the same

A snap fastener having a male strip member and a female strip member, mutually engaged and respectively having a band-like base portion and a snapping portion having a snapping function, in which the band-like base portion includes a first layer fused onto a bag body; a second layer laminated onto the first layer; and a third layer laminated onto the second layer, and further the first layer is consisted of a resin film fusing the inner-most layer of the bag body, the second layer consists of a biaxially oriented film, the third layer consists of a resin film fusing the snapping portion, and the snapping portion consists of synthetic resin having a melt index (MI) of 1-20 g/10 min. At least one layer of the biaxially oriented nylon film consists 40-85% by weight of nylon 6 (Ny 6) and 15-60% by weight of metaxylylene adipamide (MXD 6), in which both magnifications of the MD direction (the moving direction of the film) and the TD direction (the direction of the width of the film) in extending are more than 2.8 times.

Snap fastener and a bag for packaging with a snap fastener

An oriented splittable film which contains nylon and meta-xylene adipamide at a weight ratio of 40-85:15-60 and which was oriented with a magnification above 2.8 times in both directions of MD and TD. Examples of nylon include nylon 66, nylon 6-66 copolymer and so on. Under this manufacturing method for an oriented splittable film, when a raw film is heated in a biaxially orienting process, such as the tubular method, the heating temperature at the side part of the film, in the direction of film width, when folding the bubbles, is controlled along the circumference direction of the bubbles so that it is lower than the heating temperature of the part of the film which is used later as a product. The heat treatment process for these films includes a first heat treatment step implemented for films at temperatures between 120 degrees C. and 190 degrees C. based on the tubular method or tenter method and a second heat treatment step implemented for films at temperatures between 190 degrees C. and 220 degrees C. based on the tenter method.

Oriented film easy to split

A method of and an apparatus for biaxially orienting a crystalline thermoplastic resin film and subsequently thermally processing the film with first and second heating devices, in which the temperatures of respective heaters for biaxially orienting the film are separately controlled, the first heating device being operated by a tubular method or a tenter method, and the second heating device being operated under a tenter method and above the temperature in the first heating device, whereby a melting and sticking of the film is prevented and the bowing ratio is decreased.

Method of and an apparatus for thermally processing crystalline

The invention relates to processes for producing biaxially oriented single-layered and multilayered films. The biaxially oriented single-layered film receives stresses in the range of 500 kg/cm.sup.2 to 1500 kg/cm.sup.2 each in the machine and transverse directions of the film. The multilayered film receives stresses in the range of 300 kg/cm.sup.2 to 1250 kg/cm.sup.2 each in the machine and transverse directions of the film. Thus, the molding stability in biaxial orientation of a nylon film is improved and the thickness accuracy of a resulting film is improved.

Process for producing biaxially oriented nylon film

The present invention relates to a method of and an apparatus for manufacturing biaxially oriented film. A tubular original film which has been extruded by an extruding die is biaxially oriented by heat and air injected to the inside portion thereof being conveyed to nip rolls each having an individual circumferential speed. The temperature of heat to be applied to the film is controlled on the basis of the detected film thickness for the purpose of obtaining a uniform film thickness distribution. Furthermore, the film can be made uniform by adjusting the outer diameter of the bubble-shaped oriented film by adjusting the distance between two sets of nip rolls on the basis of the measured width of the film. In addition, when the thus-oriented film is subjected to a heat treatment, temperature of heat is arranged to be a predetermined temperature as to prevent adhesion of the films.

Method of and apparatus for manufacturing biaxially oriented film

The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for tubularly drawing a tubular raw material of thermoplastic resin. Gas for forming a bubble to heatingly draw the tubular raw material is injected into the raw material from a direction opposite to a direction for transferring the raw material through a nozzle. The raw material is cut into a plurality of web-like pieces by cutting blades provided on pinch rolls for taking up the raw material. One of the web-like pieces thus cut is separated from the others and formed with an opening into which the nozzle is inserted to inject the gas.

Method of and apparatus for tubularly drawing thermoplastic resin

A method of biaxially stretching a tubular thermoplastic resin to provide a film, wherein air is blown against a starting point for heating and stretching the tube, from the upstream side of the starting point, at a predetermined angle relative to the feeding direction of the film. An apparatus for achieving this method includes: two pairs of nip rolls being different in circumferential speed between the pairs; a heating-stretching section interposed between the pairs of nip rolls, for heating the tube to a temperature where the tube can be stretched; and an air ring device for blowing air in the feeding direction of the film.

Method of producing biaxially oriented film of thermoplastic resin

A method of producing a biaxially oriented sheet or film, wherein molten resin is simultaneously, biaxially oriented in a direction of extruding the molten resin and in a direction perpendicular thereto, and an apparatus therefor, are disclosed. In the method of producing a biaxially oriented sheet or film, the molten resin is extruded into a tubular form in the horizontal direction, once cooled, thereafter, in heating the tubular resin prior to the biaxial orientation, the tubular resin is uniformly heated with the heating applied on the vertically lower side and the heating applied on the vertically upper side of the tubular resin being controlled separately of each other so as to prevent the ununiformity of the heating of the tubular resin in the circumferential direction thereof due to the elevation in heat caused by a thermal convection phenomenon, and then, the tubular resin is biaxially oriented.
