The work vehicle includes a utility member for the vehicle selectively movable between a use position and a non-use position, a non-use state detecting sensor for detecting movement of the utility member to the non-use position, and an override unit operable to override the automatic engine stop function of the automatic engine stop unit, the override unit providing an override signal to the automatic engine stop unit in response to detection by the non-use state detecting sensor of the movement of the utility member to the non-use position.

Work vehicle having overridable automatic engine stop circuit

A tractor transmission includes a change speed mechanism, a shift lever ( ) for shifting the change speed mechanism, a super-reduction mechanism ( ) for decelerating and outputting power inputted thereto, the super-reduction mechanism having a larger reduction ratio than the change speed mechanism, and an overdrive mechanism ( ) for accelerating and outputting power inputted thereto. A single switching device ( ) is provided for operating both the super-reduction mechanism and overdrive mechanism. The switching device is shiftable, when the super-reduction mechanism is in neutral, from a state of operating the super-reduction mechanism to a state of operating the overdrive mechanism.

Tractor transmission

A propelling transmission for an agricultural tractor includes a main change speed mechanism, an auxiliary change speed mechanism, and a high/low change speed mechanism for providing two, high and low, speeds with a smaller transmission ratio than a transmission ratio between speed stages of the main change speed mechanism. The main change speed mechanism, auxiliary change speed mechanism and high/low change speed mechanism are arranged in series. Speeds in a low-speed range for an operational run among speeds provided by the main change speed mechanism and auxiliary change speed mechanism are combined with the two speeds provided by the high/low change speed mechanism. The propelling transmission prevents the high/low change speed mechanism from being operated to the low speed in a high-speed range for a road run among the speeds provided by the main change speed mechanism and auxiliary change speed mechanism, whereby the high-speed range is combined only with the high speed provided by the high/low change speed mechanism.

Agricultural tractor

A friction clutch mounted in a transmission case (25) or the like and connected between a drive shaft (14) for receiving engine power and a driven shaft (15) for receiving power from the drive shaft and transmitting the power to a power takeoff shaft (11). The friction clutch includes a first sleeve (17) connected to the drive shaft, a second sleeve (16) connected to the driven shaft, friction disks (18, 19) disposed between the first sleeve and the second sleeve, the friction disks being switchable between a clutch engaging state to enable power transmission between the first sleeve and the second sleeve, and a clutch disengaging state to disable the power transmission, and a clutch piston (20) movable between a first position to place the friction disks in the clutch engaging state, and a second position to place the friction disks in the clutch disengaging state. The friction clutch further includes a brake mechanism (B) for braking rotation of the driven shaft when the friction disks are in the clutch disengaging state. The brake mechanism includes a first braking member (26) operatively connected to the clutch piston, and a second braking member (24) for contacting the first braking member when the clutch piston is moved to the second position. The second braking member is rotatable through a predetermined range with the first braking member.

Friction clutch having a brake mechanism

A transmission for a tractor comprising a power takeoff line change speed gear mechanism, propelling line change speed gear mechanisms and a backward and forward drive switching mechanism. The propelling line change speed gear mechanisms include a main change speed mechanism, an auxiliary change speed mechanism and a front wheel change speed mechanism. The power takeoff line change speed mechanism, and the main and auxiliary change speed mechanisms somewhat encircle a longitudinal center line transversely of the transmission. The backward and forward drive switching mechanism and the front wheel change speed mechansim are juxtaposed in a region immediately forwardly of the change speed machanisms B, C and E. Further, the drive switching mechanism, the auxiliary change speed mechanism and the front wheel change speed mechanism F are disposed on one lateral side of a longitudinal plane from a front end of the tractor to a rear end at a substantially mid-position of the transmission while the power takeoff line change speed mechanism and the main change speed mechanism are disposed on the other lateral side thereof.

A frame type tractor comprising an engine mounted on a forward region of a body frame, and a transmission mounted on a rear region of the body frame and operatively connected to the engine through a transmission shaft. The transmission consists of an input section, a change speed section and an output section. The input section includes an input shaft connected to the transmission shaft, a wet type multidisk clutch for establishing and breaking transmission of a engine drive received from the input shaft, and an oil pump driven by the input shaft.

Frame type tractor

A transmission for a tractor in which a forward-reverse change mechanism M3 is disposed between a first change speed mechanism M1 and a second change speed mechanism M2 and to the first change speed mechanism M1 a PTO countershaft 34 and a PTO shaft shaft 32 connected thereto are operatively connected. A drive shaft 47 for front wheels is operatively connected to the second change speed mechanism M2. A rotational power is transmitted to a mid-PTO shaft 39 from the PTO countershaft 34 via a gear 50 which is mounted freely and rotatably on the drive shaft 47 for the front wheels.

PTO-driving of a double-clutch-incorporated type transmission characterized in that the PTO-driving comprises a first gearing mechanism interlocking with a PTO main shaft, a second gearing mechanism interlocking with a running-travel main shaft, and a coupling means functioning to selectively drivably couple the said gearing mechanisms with a PTO transmission shaft.

PTO-Driving of double-clutch-incorporated type transmission

An agricultural tractor in which two sets of pedals are mounted on the tractor body forwardly and rearwardly with the rearward pedals at a higher position than the forward pedals. A seat can be selectively fixed at a rearward position opposed to the forward pedals or a forward position opposed to the rearward pedals, the forward position of the seat being higher than the rearward position. A steering wheel can be fixed to either a forward or rearward position corresponding to the position of the seat.
